$2,307,121 is our cap space at the moment with Nyquist,Andersson and Smith as RFA's and still working on a deal with Cleary.

It looks to me that Ken is still on the phone working on a potential trade.

Thoughts...?

With 14 F on the roster, and 2 (Nyquist, Andersson) RFAs to sign, i think Emmerton and Tootoo will be traded.

It was already mentioned, that our C´s will be Dats, Weiss, Helm and Andersson. Byebye Emmerton!

Sammy should be on LTIR with hurt feelings for almost being bought out.

Ya he's probably screwing us out of brunner, if not then maybe a guy like morrow. Pathetic. GTFO Sammy nobody wants you here

Following the removal of Emmerton we see "The Axe" disappear off this board and appear on his next team's board.

Is there a kickstarter campaign for Jakub Kindl to never play another NHL game?

How can we get rid of Samuelsson or Quincey?

How about a scenario where Brunner is signed and all the RFAs are as well?

Who goes?

Yeah it's not like he's bad or anything. Anderson just seems to fit the lineup better. Emmerton never found his role. He could be a good 3rd-4th line center on another team

Good rule of thumb is always take an octopus everywhere. Better to have one and not need it than find yourself thinking, "Damn, I wish I had that octopus".

^ You might want to check your Cleary numbers.  Looks like he got one hell of a raise. :P

It's amazing how much clarity comes when you care more about the Red Wings than any individual player.

"They are the best team in the world. They are a team that can just take over when they want to," Chicago's Patrick Kane said (of the Detroit Red Wings).

Personally, I think the need for grit on the fourth line will push Eaves out, and the result will be..

Mikail will spend the season on LTIR keeping us at 23

We keep Emerton because of Helm's uncertainty

Just read that emmerton may be kept around in case helm's back acts up again. Makes sense.

Don't worry about Sammy, he'll never play another game in a Wings uniform.

They'll find a way to buy him out, or have him taken care of Jimmy Hoffa style.

Or, get him to waive his NTC and ship him to a team trying to get to the cap floor.
