#2203701 Datsyuk or Zetterberg

Datsyuk, he is the Wings most clutch player and showed it in the playoffs. But I agree with whoever said Holland would be fired first for offering Hudler the huge contract.

#2191076 Ehrhoff's rights traded to NYI, then traded to Buffalo

Lidstrom - Wisniewski
Stuart - Kronwall
Ehrhoff - Ericsson

Yes Please!

Only thing I see wrong their is that Ericsson is in one of your D pairings.

Wiz - Kronwall
Ehrhoff - Lidstrom
Stuart - Kindl

#2189701 Filatov traded to Sens for second round pick

why can't we get in on these deals? id take that.

Maybe because Holland thinks every draft pick will turn into a Datsyuk or Lidstrom? I don't know.

#2189371 Habs shopping Wisniewksi's rights + for a 2nd rounder

Posted by MGreenberg on 24 June 2011 - 10:52 PM

I wouldn't mind giving the Habs a second rounder. We lose a pick but we gain a guy who can play now instead of a guy who might be able to play five years down the road or just fizzle out in the AHL.

Hudler and a 2nd for Wisniewski would make me very happy.

#2188284 Nick Lidstrom wins Norris trophy #7

Congrats to Nick but the biggest joke was that Mike Gillis Won best GM. So just because they make it the Cup Finals, he gets best general manager? Guess Steve Yzerman bringing Tampa to being one win away from the Cup Finals after the Lightning miss the playoffs for four straight years means nothing.

The Wings should have Eva travel around a pitch Hudler to teams maybe he could get a few to bite.

Late too but Happy Birthday, you got about a month and a half on me, lol.

#2185122 SCF: Boston Bruins vs. Vancouver Canucks

Posted by MGreenberg on 14 June 2011 - 12:42 PM

I've been rooting for Boston ever since discovering that the Sedins, Kesler and Burrows are flagrantly guilty of diving. Maybe it's because I grew up watching our top guys--Yzerman, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Lidstrom, Fedorov etc. etc.--be very classy on the ice, but I just can't respect a team whose top players behave in such an unsportsmanlike manner.

Yeah, it is pretty awful. If anything is right in the NHL, Boston will win game seven.

#2185117 SCF: Boston Bruins vs. Vancouver Canucks

I'm trying to figure out why Boston plays one way at home and the total opposite in Vancouver. Is it perhaps the time change? Being in the West, the Canucks are used to going in and out of time zones (like the Wings do) whereas the Bruins play all their games in the East and only go out west once or twice a season. Does this explain their lethargic play in Vancouver? I hope the Bruins win but it will likely be 1-0 Vancouver. Again.

Lol, you say Vancouver is used to it but obviously not this series since they have been hammered each game in Boston. But I think the Bruins break through in game seven and win 2-1.

Lol, If Boston brought their home effort to Vancouver they would be up 6-0 already but if Vancouver realized that they should play Luongo at home and Schiender away they would have won the cup already.

BUT GO BRUINS. Keep the Drought alive.

Man, this series is so weird. Neither team has any clue how to score when they play in Vancouve but when they go to Boston, the Bruins make the Canucks look like they have no clue how to play. Wonder if it will be the same in game six.

Pure stupidity by all Bruins involved in OT. What the f*** was Thomas doing there diving like a mile out of his net. And does it always seem like players who should be suspended have the biggest games? Like the five OSU players who should have been gone during the bowl game.

#2182328 Brad Richards

Posted by MGreenberg on 03 June 2011 - 09:26 AM

Yeah, I said before that he would find his way back thanks to Stevie...

Though I don't think they should keep Vinnie.

I say they trade Lecavalier to MTL for Cammalari and some other parts of a trade (and really shoot for the moon), as we all know they would trade anything for Vinny.

The Lightning trading away Vinny would be like the Wings trading away Nick. Lecavalier is going to retire as a Bolt and he still is having 50+ point seasons.

#2181968 Changes in the offseason

Posted by MGreenberg on 02 June 2011 - 12:36 AM

If Helm makes it to the RFA period in the summer of 2012, Holland f***ed up. Plain and simple.

And if Hudler is still on this team come next season, Holland really f***ed up.

Wow, I got neg'd hard for my comment, lol. Guess I should have clarified and said that I think at 3.75M he is overpaid. I probably wouldn't have said anything if he was around a 2-2.5 million guy.
