GuloGulo 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 So, he's "back" in California. If he'll be allowed to suit up or not, well, who knows? A fishy story http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=196464&hubname=nhl

A fishy story http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=196464&hubname=nhl Korolyuk is playing in Russia, and has been for at least 3 years. On top of that he is currently injured. What SJ wants with him I don't know. Or did NJ trade a pick for cap space again?
superstarsingh 23 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 I was just thinking the other day as to which nhl team had his rights if any.
Feldmarschall 9 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 If he gets healthy and they lure him back over, he seems like he'd be the type of guy to really thrive with the new rules. He's produced very well in Russia.
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted February 17, 2007 This guy has played his entire NHL career with San Jose. Now, if it were the Av's, they might even retire his number right next to Ray Bourque. In all seriousness, Korolyuk is not a bad player. He brings a lot of energy to the lineup when he plays, so if the Sharks do lure him back then it is definitly a boost for them. I always liked the way Korolyuk played, so this is a pretty good move for them.
