When do we get a GM change? He's the one that put this crappy roster together. Scotty Bowman could yell and mix lines until he's blue in the face. Wouldn't help to turn this roster into a good team. -

Should have pulled the goalie at the start of the period. They showed more offense in the last minute than the rest of the game combined. -

Crosby vs. McDavid tonight and they're televising the Wings/Sabres game? LOL. No wonder this league is way behind the other leagues in North America. How do you not showcase a game like that, especially since McDavid is forever doomed to be unknown to American audiences playing in Edmonton. Doesn't play many big games against East coast teams. -

When were the Pens that bad recently? Coaching can make a difference but so can having Crosby and Malkin, as well as having a well rounded team. Whoever the best coach in the league is, I believe that person would still struggle trying to get this Wings team into the playoffs. They just don't have the horses. -
Wow, I must have missed this story over the weekend. How could anybody actually want Sheahan? Guy is useless. If there's anything Holland has done well consistently during his tenure, it's get rid of players who didn't amount to anything outside of Detroit (though Leino gave us that scare in the 2010 playoffs).

Instead of building a new arena and putting their stupid logo on the roof, the Ilitch family should be stressing that this team get back to contending status. By keeping Holland around, who is the architect of this crappy team, they're basically telling the fanbase that they don't give a crap. -

The Wings will likely be in the basement in a few weeks. The defense, as everyone predicted, is terrible again. I never get tired of saying this, but this team has the highest payroll in the league. -
How does the lighting compare to the JLA? I remarked in the GDT last night that on TV, the JLA had the best lighting in the league. This arena looks darker on TV.
