On CBC last night it was said January 1st will end up being Wings vs Leafs in Toronto. Hope it is true, as it would make for a great trip home for the holidays. -

The contract he gets will be 4 or 5 years to many, not a couple. People complain about some of the contracts on this team now. Just wait until you see what the opinion is on Buff's contract to be come 2020.

No. It would cost too much for a rental. And signing him to the kind of contract he will no doubt get would be great for 2 or 3 years, but then would become a cap nightmare. Let him become somebody else's mistake. The only circumstance I'd like to see him as a Wing is one that will never happen. And that would be the same kind of deal Green signed with us.

Nice to see Green start to show up on the score sheet more regularly. Be huge for guys like he and Jurco to get it going. -
They also looked like they had a lot more fun than they have had in recent years. The key to keeping the game competitive is to have a few younger players like Larkin in the mix. These kids playing with veteran all-stars are gonna show up to play, which in turn gets the older guys going. Larkin was all over the ice last night. That type of thing is infectious.

The way some people get bent out of shape over the Larkin record (in general, not just here), you'd think someone cheated their way to becoming the all time scoring leader.
