Byfuglien is gonna end up signing one of those contracts that will look god awful in 2 years time come July 1st. I am curious to see which team gets suckered into it.

Agreed. I like the modernized 'D', and I really dig the white sleeves with white gloves. The slant is something that I'd have found cool when I was 10. It's definitely a case of less would be more.

My only gripe is how the white is slanted. It feels like it is trying too hard to look modern. If it were level like the red band was on the winter classic jerseys, it would look much better.

The only thing I remember about Lashoff is how underwhelming he is. Rightfully buried. But let me figure out your logic. We have too many good young players, so our GM is an idiot. If Holland trades any of them away LGW would have a meltdown. Moral of the story? People cannot be pleased.

Don't you have a specific thread to keep your Miller hate now? I think when Jurco is back, Pulk should sit a few games. Jurco on the 4th line doesn't make any sense. This offseason, let Callahan take Miller's spot. You don't replace a guy who you use to kill penalties with a guy you want scoring. Miller has his spot in the lineup because he fulfils his role. Trust me, the coaching staff knows more than you.

Larkin has all the tools to become a player as good as Toews, but is only 19. Getting Toews would make us better short term sure. But not in the long run.

The thing you're overlooking here is that other GM's are not gonna give up assets for a player that will likely turn out to be a career AHLer. He has no value in any sort of trade. He is the definition of the type of player waivers is for. Andersson would have been claimed as well. Miller would have been claimed a hell of a lot sooner than Boston, despite what you think about him.
