Cole is the kind of guy you win with in the playoffs. We got him for next to nothing (aka a player that ran back to Sweden and a guy who was never making this team due to being too far back on the depth chart.) -

I do not understand how anyone could think #13 and #40 won't be in the rafters some day. If it is held to such standards as Yzerman or Lidstrom, we'll never see another number up there. 91 belongs up there as well. And I do think that we will see that some day.

Keep in mind 90% of this team's injuries in goal is Monster (yes, I pulled that number out of my ass as a joke... kind of).

s***, I'm a student working part time. Before taxes I make $600 every couple weeks. Come payday I get $450 of it. Even those with low wages get hosed. Actually a big reason why I plan on leaving this country when I graduate.

Goaltending doesn't matter when your oppoent can't get the puck. That was their weakness for the last few years. This year the rest of the team is so deep that it just doesn't even matter. Neither goalie was even tested, really. Except the last couple minutes of the USA game. But they have been stopping the pucks they should be stopping. That alone is a welcome change.
