When your team is bottom of the league in scoring from dmen, it's gonna hurt the team's offense overall. Fix that issue and things fall into place.

From everything I've heard, his pain was only an issue before his back surgery, and has been fine since.

Is giving a good, young player NHL experience not beneficial to the team long-term? He was consistently the best dman on the team all preseason long. That should have at worst earned him a look to start the season. Wanna know what's bad for the team long term? Filling roster spots with useless "veterans" when there are better, younger players ready to make the jump. Players who have no future with the team are playing in favour of those who do.

The positive I take from this game is how Mrazek rebounded from the bad goal he allowed. If it were last season, the wheels would have fallen off for him at that point.

If you're referring to the preseason, he has been fine. Especially last night. No chance on either goal. But them's the breaks when playing behind a bunch of kids. Just looking at the score of the game, eh?

Truth. On TV it came off as extremely muffled. Did not sound right at all, and my first thought was that it sounded like a recording and not an actual horn. Much like the lack of banners, I'm hoping it's just something they haven't had the chance to set up yet. Also not a fan of the organ. It's a hockey tradition that should have died a long time ago.
