Mrazek needs to be in. Sure, he had a bad stretch, but he's generally really good in big games and last year he played amazing vs this very team. Howard is just not good enough. Howard would only be able to survive the playoffs if he had a D like we used to in the late 90's.

I'm confident still that this team can pull an upset in round 1. Last night wasn't a bad game. I think there was some opportunities to score some goals that didn't turn out. But if Richards' shot goes in, or if Sheahan's shot is just an inch more to the left, it's a completely different game. We got this.

The longer this goes, the more it worries me that they'll let them have it though. But that is clearly offside.

I'm wondering if he was decided on going back, but now that it's out and he's seeing reaction from the fans, maybe he's starting to lean to the undecided side again and considering 1 more tough year away from his daughter? To me, Pav doesn't seem like the type of person to come up with drama like this without reason. Only time will tell really.

I don't think that this would work. He did say he wants to play in Russia while he still has his skill, so he wouldn't be able to play there if he's on LTIR here I thought? I could be wrong. Anyways, Pav has been my favorite player since he broke into the league and I won't lose any respect for him at all, he's earned the ability to make his decision. I don't know what to think though, with the newer reports saying that he isn't sure yet, even though what he said to Mitch seemed pretty convincing. If he leaves, I think the Wings will find a way to not be hooked to the cap hit.
