    Well that sucks! Truthfully, I was expecting them to have the ability to swap out things like that with a push of a button, to make it more personalized for each team. It def won't make a Pistons fan out of me.

    Please tell me you're joking? I don't know what they are doing with the rafters in the LCA, but what I was imagining was, such it's such a modern and high tech building, that they can swap out what is hanging from the rafters with the push of a button. Now you kinda got me a little bummed, wondering if I'll be seeing Pistons stuff at the Wings game. Nothing against the Pistons, I'm just not an NBA guy.

    Curious about why Journey wasn't played too. Surely there is a good reason for it? They mentioned that it'll be on before the end of the celebrations, but why not at the end of the game?

    I gotta say.... This pre-game show is making this awful season a little easier for the fan inside me. It's a great reminder of all of the amazing things that this franchise has done for this city and fans. I'm going to watch every second of this game and then look forward to a brand new start in the LCA next season.

    No, I'm not saying that at all. What I'm saying is that I'm not part of any of those NHL organizations and I don't know a damn thing about what happens in their trade discussions, so I am not going to assume what he could or couldn't get 2 hours from now. But hey, maybe you're involved and have more information than us and can confidently sit there and say you know for a fact what could have happened 2 hours from now. Good for you.

    I'm not a Holland slappy or anything, but reading some comments in this thread is pretty funny. None of us really know what has been going on behind the scenes, any offers he's got and such. Why are we complaining about Holland not waiting long enough? Then if he had waited, we'd be seeing the opposite. I honestly doubt that there was a better offer out there that he chose to say no, I'll go with this one, instead.

    Why are your quoting me with this garbage? Are you trying to say that I'm insinuating any of the above? I'm just calling it the way I see it, it was gross and if it was on us, I'd hope the guy got ejected. Now in saying that, do I think that Nyquist did it intentional to try and hurt someone? Doubtful, he's probably just as frustrated at their suckage as us fans are.

    This team will be fun to watch, win or lose, if they can play this hard and show effort for a full 60 minutes every night. What frustrated me the most last season was that they seemed like they didn't care.
