Babcock is arrogant, stubborn, old school style of coach. OK Boomer ... enough said. Players hated playing for him, stories coming out that he was a prick ... you can see it on the demeanor of the players. I'm 99% sure they all gave feedback to Dubas. And if Eichel wasn't on the same page, you gotta ask, why wasn't he ... 'he's won a Cup with Pittsburgh'. And why can't Bylsma do anything right now, he was hired to coach offense and special teams.

Bylsma got fired from Buffalo ... his stock took a dive and never recovered for some reason. Guy lost it.

Not sure what you mean ... yes or no. I am 99.9% sure that Zett would not want to play on this team and in a season like this. And I don't want to see him play or further injure his back ... what for? This? Another few million? Go and enjoy life with your hot wife.

Which is worst, the Wings of the 70's or the Wings over these last few years?

No people ... you do not want to see him play one more season ... he started to deteriorate, showing his age ... another season, what for ... and why? No point really. Now we will get to see him play the Classic outdoor games when the legendary Wings play the Leafs or something like thaat.

Great career, lots of highlight reel moments, perfect time to retire. Any chance he can put on a jersey on opening night, participate in the warm up skate, get out on the ice one more time so the fans can give him a proper farewell?

Karlsson and Tatar are such different needs. But this is not bad of a trade. Wished we could have gotten something for Green though.

Great ... a little high on the first couple of years but I think it averages itself out in terms of value in year 3 and 4 if Tatar can keep up the 25 goals per year. But how this existing team is one of the highest salary team pushing cap issues, I'll NEVER understand.

Unfortunately, this year's Wings will be one of the most unexciting team to watch moving to a new arena ... ... sorry for the pessimism

Team does know that there is no way that they can catch up to Avs in terms of worst point standings, right? What is the record for worst points total for a Wings team in the modern era and is this year's team close or in the running for this prestigious title?

I don't know whether to jump up and down and celebrate or to throw something at my TV. If the Wings can beat Wash and Pitts back to back ... where the hell was the team all season? When it's too late, they're going to creep up in the standings to 9th spot ...
