Look, did Mrazek screw up? Oh you bet. Did he screw up any worse than Osgood on Jamie Baker AND Jamie Langenbrunner? No. He did win two cups here as primary guy in the playoffs though. I'm going Team Mrazek and even though Jimmy's a quality guy I'm getting old and right now PM gives us the best chance to win the Cup again.

Right now I'd have to say there won't be a 26th year in a row. We need to go with one goalie and cut bait with the other. It's gonna hurt the bottom line to let Jimmy go but he's the obvious choice. I'd say right now to tread water we need at LEAST two top four defensemen. A top line center is imperative. If it's still just Hank, Glendening. AA, and 6-8 minutes of Sheahan we're doomed offensively. We need a top six scoring winger to balance Larkin as well. I'd be willing to trade either or Nyquist or Tatar to get help. The contending teams are not playing as many kids as we are. They're great and all and very economic but at some point with a solid core of them you MUST mature the roster with leaders and guys who have won the wars and produce at playoff time and win their faceoffs and beat guys to loose pucks and yes, score powerplay goals. I'm ready for change and I'm ready for Mr. Holland to now live up to the company standard, of those much is given, much is expected.

Watching this team right now is almost the opposite of Tinkerbell's message that if we all believe and cheer real loud the patient will arise. I think if we're all slagging on them and pointing out the mistakes and not expecting much they may surprise us and pop a couple home.

How do they fit Jon Cooper's high chair behind the bench and how do they move around back there once they wedge it in?

GREAT team effort. My complaint last game was passengers. None tonight. They drove the play, they closed the gaps through the middle and simply outbattled Tampa for 50/50 pucks. The defense didn't panic with the puck and in quite a few cases turned it back to control play rather than just drop a dumb pass to nowhere. Mrazek was strong when called on. The powerplay makes me ill. Imagine if they play like they did tonight next game and pot a pp goal or two.

There is no reason after watching the first two periods they cannot win this game and series. Seriously. Young legs keep pushing and trolling center ice for lazy Tampa outlets. Wings winning 50/50 pucks and winning behind both red lines
