Well that was brutal. I started watching part way through the 1st and we looked horrid at times. Then in the 2nd it looked like we had hope, then like the hawks do ( and we used to) a few minutes later we're chasing 2, and we all know it is very sad when a team gets a 2 goal lead on us and we know we're f&^ked because we cant score 2 more, for some G D reason...

Jurco has looked good while playing on that top line with Z & D, AA looks great on any line but I would just love to see him with Goose. Nyquist is one of the few players on our team that can make plays at the speed AA and himself are going. Jurco is liked by a lot of people as if he ever gets going he'll be a beast, best case of this happening is with Datsyuk-again just my opinion of what Id like to see

I thought we hung right in there until that 5-3, them scoring twice there sealed the deal. Blash needs to figure out some line combos imo-Larkin was at his best with Zetterberg and when Jurco is with Dats he's looked fabulous too. I agree with this. I think Pasha will have a stronger finish but if they stay together Z will be chalking up points on every one Dats gets

I seriously cannot tell if they are hyping up this or are the Avs just really this angry? Roy and Forseberg have already said there is to be ZERO interaction between these two teams,, now Foot wants to punch Draper? ....Whatever it is I cannot wait to watch

Who plans on keeping Jimmy for the backup? Short term with Petr & Jimmy is the best case for us, with hopes of Jimmy playing the way he did the other night so his stock goes up and we can trade him for more then a bag of pucks. The free agent goalie pool is pretty deep this year

If this means 5 game trial I am down. If you are suggesting we go into a season after trading Howard with McCollum as our official #2 I would be very, very nervous.

As much as I wouldnt want to switch up the D & Z line I just think they add so much depth to two lines and really can bring out more from their linemates helping our scoring situation. This is what I would ice, pulks is out of place on line 4 but I would have him on the PP as well Tatar Zetterberg Larkin Richards/Jurco Datsyuk Nyquist Sheahan Anthanasiou Abdelkader Helm Glendening Pulkkinen
