He really needs a fair shot at the Wings line up-He has something special and we have to tap into it, he is a good skater who is strong on the puck, strong on his skates and has a natural scoring ability (which is the scpecial part, not everyone has that). He could be a boost to our bottom 6 imo, or make it funny to call and have Brunnstrom&Brunner. Either way I like Brunnstrom and always thought he looked better with the big club, maybe its a conifidence thing who knows. -
I was reading hockey buzz earlier (i know...) and the Wings were not on the short list but I was more looking for an update as I was looking at that over 12 hrs ago...Also if anyone cares to leave links to sites that post more realsitic information Id love to have it

Last I checked we were not even in on the teams inquiring about Doan...which stung a little...I hope it's changed since.

I don't get the doubt on Jimmy, he has been a rock for us and more then answered the bell on a few occasions and now as he enters his prime we replace him? Doesnt make any sence at all. Our tandem of Howard and Gusto shapes up to look like a good one. Then again I thought that abount conks too...

I know the fans have. The comments I saw on the Parise and Suter threads after they picked the Wild were way offside, they were free agents who owe us nothing for gosh sakes.

I was this thinking this off the start, use all the cap from parise and suter and go after ryan, doan, semin, and maybe nash. Have offense carry the load, but it may be too late as their collective stocks just sky rocketed...

I think our Image will remain the same, a generally hard working squad who competes to win. Until we start losing I don't see what would change, this was a unique situation for Parise & Suter and the fact Parise choose to go home and help his hometown team win with a friend does not dictate that the Red Wings are any less of an organization imo. We'll see how Kenny & Co. close out here in the next few weeks.
