I just watched a video from camp posted by ‏@Bill_Roose (The Wheel Deal ) showing Brunner playing the left point with Kronwall on the 1st power play unit. With that in mind what do you think our 2 units should look like? I think I would do this. PP #1 Samuelsson - Zetterberg - Datsyuk Brunner - Kronwall PP #2 Bertuzzi - Filppula - Franzen White - Quincey/Smith thoughts?

I am actually really happy with this draft. I think we really made large strides in improving our D moving forward. I am a huge fan of the Seider pick. I think he is going to turn out to be a stud. Pair him with Cholowski and put McIsaac with Hronek and we have a super solid top 4 going forward. Tuomisto and Johansson could end up in the mix for roster spots down the road as well. The Berglund and Moore have filled our D cupboard and have size and potential. As for the forwards I am a HUGE fan of the Grewe pick (models his game after Marchand). Mastrosimone seems to be a slick player as well that I have high hopes for. Soderblom looks like a beast. Adding Phillips and Tyutyayev add more depth at F in our system. And finally, adding Gylander ( a 6'5" goalie) is never a bad thing to do. Just my 2 cents. Cheers

I watched Hirose play for the Salmon Arm Silver Backs a few years ago and he definitely left an impression. This should prove to be an underrated signing down the road.

I had the pleasure of watching Bowey play here in Kelowna through his junior career and I can tell you we are getting one hell of a good d man. He has all the tools to be a high end offensive d man given the right partner. Getting Bowey and a 2nd round pick is a home run for Holland.

I get what your saying but, sometimes it doesn't matter how hard you try. The other teams are just simply...better. I also believe Blashill is trying his hardest to get the team to win (that's what they are hired for and would be sent packing if he wasn't) and I don't think any of us on here can really judge decisions he has made because we have no idea what is happening at practice and behind closed doors. Is Blashill the right man to lead this team into the future? Maybe not. But to question whether or not hes trying his best is just ridiculous.

People...we are in a rebuild. I know this is hard to swallow but teams in full fledged rebuild do not win many games. It will be a few more years before we start to become a contender again. I don't know why so many of you are not getting this.

I used to watch Pope play here in West Kelowna when he was in the BCHL. He was leagues ahead of all other players on the ice. He then left for the college route and looks like he has continued to impress. He is certainly worth keeping an eye on. He could really surprise a lot of people.
