Cool beans for him. I love most goalies (duh) just never heard of him. He has a “CR” on the cup, that is to honor Clint Reif, their equipment manager who passed away during the season. That was pretty cool. Maybe he can go back and add his grandma, why not?

My dislike of pretty much anything related to the Hawks may contribute to my absolute non-recognition of his name. He deserves his name on the Cup even if he never stepped skate/foot on the ice, since he is a goalie on the winning team.

This brings the anguish flooding back, how much I miss them both! So very well deserved, for both of our former Wings. The HHOF can thank the Red Wings for single-handedly making the wall of profiles so much more handsome and easy to look at. You are welcome, NHL fans.

You won't find a finer individual or better team mate than Ameer. He loves to win, but he also makes it happen.

Our Captain is a gentleman and deserves this honor. He just doesn't say much about all the work he and Emma do for schools, clean water, and lots of other causes. Good job, NHL, choosing a truly worthy recipient!

I assume they will make sure the Wings are the opponent on banner night in Chicago, because that is how life is. I hope the Wings destroy TO opening night. It will set the tone for the season, IMO.

I hope the "will he be coach, won't he be coach?" in Detroit drama didn't distract the Griffins from the playoffs. Seems odd they just quit scoring in the finals. But, they are Little Wings. It's what we do. Hope that changes next season, regardless of who is behind the bench. -
Oh, my... I miss that team and those days, so much. Baby Dats with his goal #7 - meaningless at that point, but a harbinger of things to come. I watched my recording of this game so many times, I actually had the announcers comments memorized on the goals. LOL~ Freddy Olausson! Love that guy. Igor, Nick, Dom, miss them all. But, I'm looking forward to next season, let's see what you've got, kids. Thanks for posting, Mikey. Fun memories!

I actually don't mind the Duckies, aside from Perry - who makes me want to punch his face in for simply existing. The Hawks... my hate-list is long, long..... I even hate their coach, and their idiotic goal 'song'.... they need to lose now. Go, Ducks. Ack. -
