Our goalies are representing! Very proud of them both. I would say Team Sweden has a very good chance at a medal, possibly Gold.

Lupul won't miss $10K, and his behavior is now encouraged. He'll do it again and really end someone's career - or worse, at some point. Way to go, Shanny. -
Congrats to Jimmy! I, for one (apparently! LOL~) am very proud of him. It's likely he will not see any ice time, but if needed, he will rise to the occasion.

And I hope Eaves is not lost for the rest of the season with concussion symptoms. Lupul knew he was vulnerable. Crass behavior from a player who should be above that. Boo. -

It's today!! I cannot wait for this game. The Alumni games were so incredibly awesome. I love wallowing in premium hockey games to begin a new year. It bodes well for 2014. Go, Wings!!! -

Looking at the bigger picture (not just the game last night in particular), Jimmy Howard kept this team competitive after losing arguably the best D man in the league, as well as losing Rafalski, who was very under-rated by many. I have faith that Jimmy is still #1 for Detroit. Monster has been great, but that is what the back up is supposed to do when the main man is down. I think the Winter Classic game is exactly what Jimmy needs to get his mojo back. Hope I am right.
