Hi, OC! (((hugs))) Yes, I do shop online for Red Wings stuff, since I am not near Detroit. A big part of my "wardrobe" is Wings apparel. The person below me once wore black and white saddle shoes.

I would if they woke me up or something. I hate the spam calls on my cell phone, that really makes me mad. The person below me is proficient with a hula hoop.

    15 years ago today

Big old tear just plopped onto my keyboard. I hope Vladdy is doing well, but mourn the loss of his life that could have been. So grateful he is a Red Wing, though. He will always have family with his hockey brothers from Detroit.

    LGW Fit Club

So. Since January of this year, I have lost 30+ pounds. Yes, I needed to. I still work out 5-6 days a week, plus cardio and doing all the yard work and everything else on a house I own. Here is the dilemma: People are now saying "You're too skinny" and "Are you sick?" to me. No, I am not too skinny, and I am far from sick. Just the opposite, I've never felt better in my life. I am very strong and can kick most peoples' butts in a work out. The question I have it this: is it just a perception in this country that if you're not morbidly obese, you're "fine" and don't need to be lean and fit? Are they jealous? Am I crazy? I thought I would get some support from those around me, but oddly, it's been the opposite here. One person said, "You're obsessed with working out and your diet." I think in this case, obsessed might actually mean dedicated and not lazy. I am that, I admit. As for my "diet" - a diet is simply the range of food one chooses to eat. So, yeah, I guess I am on a diet. I eat very clean and lean, and I love it. My close, good friends understand my program and are very supportive and proud of me, by the way. Not that I don't fall off the wagon on occasion. Ask my friends about the visit to Detroit in March. Pizza Papalous, Big Boy, Hockeytown cafe cheeseburger and loaded fries!! yeah baby!! Raspberry lemon drop martinis all around, folks!! I came home, and proceeded to lose the 4 pounds I gained in Michigan. I wear a size 4 now, and need new gym clothes, since my old shorts tend to fall off. I wear compression shorts under them, don't worry.

2012 SCF : Los Angeles Kings vs. New Jersey Devils

echo this ^^^ I am as happy for the Kings as I can be for any team which is not the Wings. They played their butts off, and absolutely deserved to win it all. I also am very happy to see NJ go home empty handed.

Brad Stuart's rights traded to San Jose

I really like Brad Stuart, on and off the ice. He's a quality player, and he will definitely be missed. We knew he was going, but it's still sad. I think he enjoyed being a Wing, although I am pretty sure he never, ever wanted to leave SJ in the first place. He was forced to, by the trade for Thornton, to Boston. So, he's back home with his family. We are poorer for the loss of him on our blue line - like we need to lose anyone else? - but I wish him all the luck in the world unless he's playing against us. Thanks for your services, Brad.

    Alexander Radulov.

I would have thought that was so much a given, that the Wings wouldn't consider this side-car mercenary... an article in TSN seems redundant.

    The person below me game...

I am no scholar in it, although I liked it as a class in college. I do not subscribe to the Pronger Fizziks Theory ® however. The person below me remembers the incident where Pronger blamed poor physics for his goonery.

    This or That

Depends. I don't usually have anyone to make a fuss about birthday, so if I have work to do, I am here. Next year is a big one, so I might take myself on a trip, if I can't find anyone who wants to go with me. lumbago or sciatia? pssttt.. google!

    This or That

Garages are for your car. I find there is a direct correlation between the size of the garage and the amount of crap most people have. I have a single stall garage, but manage to fit everything for the yard and other storage in there, along with my car. My neighbors with double-car garages have theirs full of junk, and then park in the street and cause problems with people trying to drive past. Never understand that... scratch and sniff or Smell-o-Vision?

2012 SCF : Los Angeles Kings vs. New Jersey Devils

that first goal was a momentum killer for the Devils, but didn't account for the other 3 goals. at any rate, LA has the momentum and I hope they finish this in game 4.
