Does this even need to be asked? AK hands down. Semin gets too much hate. He's good, underrated and I would love to have him here over any other forward were rumored to be interested in.

Looks like we'll have to wait a little longer.. But in good news, the wings are believed to be among leaders for doan (if he leaves Phoenix) along with the Hawks and Nucks.. Kevin McGran of the Toronto Star: The Maple Leafs are one of a dozen teams that are have made calls on Shane Doan. The Blackhawks, Red Wings and Canucks are thought to be the leaders. Others to have made a pitch are: Blues, Canadiens, Penguins, Flyers, Rangers, Jets and Kings. I'm not the biggest fan of doan so I really wouldn't mind if he signed elsewhere but te wings could really use a player like him IMO

Haven't seen him play too much but from what I have seen, subban seems to have a temper, retaliates, and takes stupid penalties. His production is still good tho so if he played smarter and didn't take dumb penalties, I would love to have him here. Edit: I would not give up Filp and Tatar for him though. Too much IMO although they'd likely want something like that or more..

I don't see what all the Quincey hate is for. The guys pretty solid. Not bad defensively, he hits, and can jump up in the play offensively. And he's younger. I think hes a great depth dman

Sign semin/carle, trade for yandle and were still good. Or trade for webers rights if at all possible. Worth a try anyway

Nashville either trades him or he forces a one year contract and they lose him next year for nothing. He wont stay in Nashville now that suter left. -

I don't think weber would sign any offer sheet unless the prednecks tell him straight up that they won't match it. I think weber tries to force them to trade his rights.. If we do that and sign him long term, I say we win. That plus sign semin ad it's a great off season.. I'm still hopeful. Geterrdone Kenny!! -
We'll be fine. With 16 forwards under contract (counting Abby and nyq), we've been setting up for a trade just in case. Excited to see what we do. Kenny has to have something up his sleeve. Weber rights? Yandle? One of those or something similar plus signing semin and it's a good offseason in my book.. We'll see

Darren Dreger via twitter: Shea Weber’s options after Ryan Suter signs: “1) accept Q.O at $7.5 mil. 2) wait for offer sheet. 3) sign longterm with Preds. 4) push for trade.” They say he could force a trade (assuming to a cup contender) if suter signs somewhere that can't afford to sign weber the following year as well. Maybe we could pry webers RFA rights from the prednecks for some forwards or something if we miss out on suter / minny gets both and can't afford weber. Doubt the prednecks would want to lose him to nothing as his most likely option is to only sign one year and become a UFA next off season.. -
Lol all Jagr cares about is money.. Side note tho.. Stars are making some decent moves. Whitney and Jagr and they got the better end of that Roy trade IMO

I think Sammy is gunna be better than we're all giving him credit for.. Just have a feeling he'll be around as productive as hudler and maybe throw around his bigger body much more. We'll see.. But cheers indeed! Can't wait to see what the rest of the offseason brings.

our D-men would have to step up and play great all season but other than that, I don't think I'd have a problem with this at all.. I for one would love to have semin playing with datsyuk. and i think us signing "the monster" was our smartest move so far.. finally howard has a solid back up so he's not completely drained towards the end of the season/playoffs from playing around 60 games a season. i would like to see nyq up on teh top line with pav and semin though, move helm to third line center and move mule to third line/maybe end up switching him with brunner or nyq eventually... not sure how that would make the fourth line look though but i'd like to see something like that to start the season.

Take franzen or Filp out and maybe. I'd rather not lose nyq tho.. Kids gunna be good. But I think weber goes to whoever gets suter.. He's making it seem that way anyway. Assuming whoever gets suter can afford weber next year which is something suter is probably considering when he picks a team..
