well signing parise and semin would be amazing. but damn near impossible. let's be realistic, we'd be lucky to get one of them. but like i said, i don't know too much about him other than that he had (i think) 67ish points last year for the islanders. maybe he would sign for only a few mill for a couple years, replace hudler who we've all grown to know and love dearly, and possibly put up more points playing alongside any combination of our top 6 on the second line. not saying I was him but he could be an option. idk.

100% agreed rinnes opinion means next to nothing. Anyone on that teams gunna say the same thing. Was just posting the tweet for convenience. Franzen and huds were also on the wings. I think either parise or semin in our line up scores goals every < 47 mins of ice time. Still I agree, it's a pretty cool stat. Not something you look at all the time.

Might have to divide these two into two lines a different way but who knows Or maybe we do.. Semin-dats-Bert Z-Filp-mule And have bert and mule be the in front of the net guys then use dats-z-semin towards the ends of games/crucial pp's when we really need to score

Howie was great last year before his injury an after he got back it just seemed like he couldn't get back into it as much.. He was still good but I think he just plays too much. We could really use a solid backup who we can trust to give Howie a break sometimes

Exactly. Grinder isn't really his style.. He's a top guy finesse style player so we need to play him like one. I say start him out up there in the beginning and see how he does. Z-Dats-Nyq would be a hellofa line and I think he'd shine. Pretty sure he was averaging almost a point per game in the short amount of time he was up on Pavel's line. Just saying he deserves a shot to start the season and we'll see.

Nope. As people have said, he knows we want him.. He has to. So if he's interested in coming here he'll wait to talk to us. I just wouldn't trade a player for rights. Maybe that 7th we get if Stuart signs with San Jose but a player, nope.

This isn't news.. This is someone speculating. People around here keep saying we're going to get both parise and suter.. Doesn't mean it's gunna happen. But I think if there's any team that gets both of them, it's the wings.
