I’ve went once so far this year and I believe there was a new parking garage right next to LCA but we parked a couple blocks away and walked to the arena for half the price. This was a few months ago and I forget the specifics, so someone else around here can probably be more help, but there seemed to be plenty of parking options near the arena for sure.

I think we’re done with mrazek too. And just to clarify, the bit about us re-signing him cheaper this off season was more what I would like to happen, not what I think will happen. -
According to TSN, the leafs offered a 5th for Glendenning and the wings countered with a 2nd. They also mention the leafs probably wanted the wings to retain salary. I believe we get the extra third if philly re-signs him in any capacity. And the retained salary the rest of the year doesn’t matter; we don’t need that cap space. Personally, I think the Philly pick becomes a third this year and Mrazek becomes a free agent. Would love to sign him to a more reasonable deal if that happens; then it’s basically Philly giving us a pick to sign Mrazek cheaper than we would’ve been able to qualify him. -

Aaron Ekblad is the most recent lottery pick hyped defenseman that comes to mind.. not that his hype was as much as Dahlin’s though. Don’t think any defenseman in NHL history has ever had as much predraft hype as Dahlin.

At least ten mill seems like a given now, at least after the season when the half of mrazek’s cap hit/half of greens that we’re likely to retain are off the books. Could potentially be a bit more if they’re serious about moving Nyquist or Tatar. -
Essentially he’s a first round pick d-man already one year into his post draft development.. and in theory, one year closer to the NHL. Combine that with Tampa’s potentially being willing to deal some future assets to win now, and it becomes a possibility in a lot of people’s minds. Obviously it’s all speculation. But I’d take him over a late first for sure.

Foote for Green straight up and it’s a great deadline imo. Even if that’s the only other deal. Also would love to have him back.. something around what KRS said would be fine by me. Anything 2-3 Years x 5mill or less.

Probably irrelevant question: McKenzie says if they make the “CF” the 2018 pick could become a 2nd.... does he mean conference final or cup final? Would think he’d just say “finals” if it were cup final but ya never know. -
Trades can be made after the deadline, but then the traded players can’t play for the nhl team until the following year. It’s happened before but is very rare and is never roster players being traded. (Haven’t fact checked the roster players part but I feel pretty confident about it)

Budget teams make budget moves. LA is probably thinking the change of scenery/being on a better team helps Phaneuf.

I agree, and hope the price gets driven up for sure.. i'm just trying my best to not get my hopes up too high and I definitely hope he re-signs this summer.. but yeah, after a trade at the deadline. sounds like there's a pretty reasonable chance.

the thing that worries me about green is McKenzie mentioning that his list of teams he'd accept a trade to could be short.... which could limit any kind of "bidding war" we could hope for. Granted you only need 2 teams to be very interested to create something like that, so it's still possible. Foote/a comparable defensive prospect for Green straight up is the best case scenario imo

yeah, 100% they'll trade green. there's no way they shouldn't at this point, unfortunately.
