He'll have arbritration rights so if they don't find a deal he can go to the arbiter to decide. He could hold out on the deal that is decided through that process (Hudler-style) and play in the KHL, but there wouldn't be this prolonged stalemate.

Wouldn't expect to get much of a return on a player who was just waived - and thus offered up for free. The plunger probably won't see the NHL, but neither would Sproul here, I think. Hopefully helps GR. Good trade for Sproul to try his lot with another team.

Agreed, his usages have been quite good. I think the Abby change was warranted as well since Frk had some down games and Abby was looking the best of the bottom 6. Hope the FML line gets some more time, though. He did pull the goalie too early in the last game, but then again people thought Roy was smart to do that when it was working for him. If we had scored, people would say it's a great way to catch the other team off-guard. It was unlikely that we were going to win that game being 2 down - so who knows if it matters.

I can just imagine the confused drunks pissing on the sidewalks... But, something tells me that might be a health code violation.

Last year, the best PP% and the 2nd worst was only separated by 10% ( 24.3%-14.1.%) (Avs were extra bad with 12.1) so the spectrum is not very wide for this stat. 3% change is a big thing especially when you were only middle of the pack the year before. Not sure why you're challenging this. It was a big storyline talked about a lot throughout the year. You can't look at Lark's +11 turning to -28 as another example of that. Or look at Corsi to see it went down about 3 points. 2 points for DK.
