They won't go for Franzen, they want a good center and that's exactly Filp. He has potential and everyone can see it. The hard part is showing that we have leverage and are about to sign Filp to a longer contract but obviously he isn't going to sign one just to get dealt a few days later for Yandle. I'm hoping he can get some value in the market right now. BUT, in my person opinion, I hope we don't lose Filp. I know it's been said over and over, season after season, but I still hold a lot of potential in Filp. Him and Pavel have some outrageous chemistry and can work the puck, just never given the solid chance to play any respectable time together to showcase it. This one is hard, get the D we need... or hold on to our beautiful center with in MY opinion has a great ceiling.

Don't lowball his skillset. He could've played somewhere, but with our system you have to wait your chance. Brunner knows what he is heading into, exactly the same with Brunnstrom. You can't afford to have bad games or set a bad first impression when called up, you take it and you run with it. The franchise is going to give Brunner every chance he can to crack the team and get his chance at the big show, and they're holding him to high standards. Still don't understand how if you get a "overwhelming" amount of people signing up you magically push the date back. Set the date, and reinforce the date. Leaving that much cap space isn't a bad thing. It's been said numerous times, quoted numerous times that Holland is willing to wait until late into the season to find his man. He isn't going to overspend, we know this. Walking into next season with that much cap space can be deadly, but very good for us. Especially with the deep pool of FA in 2013. I'd swallow my pride for a season to cash out next year with the deep pool, no need to make stupid rushed decisions right now.

Both great centers and both play an outstanding two way game. Unless theyre needed to shut down a top line together i think they should be split. Id rather split the shut down abilities of both across the top 6 and have both center 1 and 2 respectively. We just need to give pasha some support inwhich case he's been lacking. I still think pasha and filp are a deadly combo. Bring brunner to second line with hank and push filp to 1st w pasha.

Well todays' the 16th so hopefully we get some more news from Doaner. Anyways, the Jets were the team that offered him 7.5m and his agent said they are still keeping that in the back of their brain housing group. He is currently in talks with the Yotes to sign a 4-yr extension though, so he will most likely be re-signing with them if they can atleast showcase their franchise isn't a complete gonger.

Well, all reports show that theres under 5 teams that are interested in him/shown interest. He wants a multi-term deal inwhich no GM wants to pull the trigger on that. He simply just isn't getting what he wants, and it seems like noone is coming to a close with this guy. I would naturally think that he is going to sign with the KHL by the end of the week for their training camp, but I think he would've signed with the KHL by now if he really didn't want to play in the NHL anymore. It seems like he really wants to stay in the league, but simply noone wants to risk him. Weird but that's what happens when you have a horrible reputation.

If you really want to see Jurco's hand eye this video displays alittle more detail that the boy has some mittens made of silk.
