Off topic, but The guy got punched in the face and had to be taken off in a stretcher!! That's lame. He's the one giving hockey a bad name. He must not have had his allotment of doping this week. Anyone who's played any contact sport ever, has been hit that hard at least once. I've seen my 3 year old take falls harder than that, get back up and be ready to go. Don Cherry would be rolling in his grave. Ryspavey beat up the whole team. That was Awesome!

It's fun to run 4 scoring lines! I'd like to see it too. but, honest question: Who's going to play defense? We have a terrible group of defenceman. Who's going to help them out? Is Marzek just going to stand on his head and stop 40 shots a game? If we run 4 scoring lines, we're going to look like the Edmonton Oilers.

It makes sense. If he makes 40+ saves in a game, he's giving his team a good chance to win. I bet most goalies share a similar win percent in 40+ save games

Larkin's "record" is B.S. Larkin got a running start before he hit the line. Gartner was at a dead stop when the clock started. I know it's in the NHL's best interest for Larkin to beat Gartner's record and I'm happy for the kid, but, common', let's measure everyone with the same standard. Really disappointed with this one.

You know who's got the record for most consecutive 40 goal seasons? Wayne Gretzky with 12. I love reading about Gretzky's records. The magnitude of them always seem so unreal and definitely, untouchable. I predict, that one day the NHL will do it's best to encourage the game back into it's mid-80's style. Imagine the hype if the newest phenom was scoring at Gretzky's pace?

what a rip off! Ottawa's amazing run comes to an end by a terrible, terrible call. Once again,the league is embarrassed by inept reffing. Any idea how much money the owners lose by not having a game seven? Enough to get a ref rep remanded?

This is the third skate related injury the Wings have had in recent years. (Modano, Helm, now Miller) I don't pay enough attention to the rest of the league. Is this a common occurrence, or have the Wings been unusually unlucky?

If Helm isn't playing, I'm not going to bother watching this one. I skipped yesterday's game and the loss doesn't sting nearly as bad as if I had invested 2.5 hours of a Saturday afternoon into it. These s*** shows that Wings turn in for the afternoon games sure can put a sour mood into the rest of the day.

that's an odd question. If he scored if every other game he would be a 40 goal scorer, and making 7 million dollars. Of course he'd be on the first line. last time we had a guy even close to that good, we signed Franzen instead.

Yeah, the Dats-Tatar-Helm line has been really good. (and there's been a good handful of games where Helm has been the best player on the ice) And the Z-Abby-Nyquist has been fairly lacklustre lately. Might be better off Replacing Abby with Cole A 3rd line of Abby-Sheahan-Weiss could really wreck some house come playoff time. Cole-Z-Nquist Helm-Dats-Tatar Abby-Sheahan-Weiss Miller-Glendening-Anderson. (This line has been fantastic all year,btw) Babs will start the playoffs with the vets. Jurco and Pulks will be the odd men out for the playoffs.
