This. So much this. You need to give your goalie some breathing room. If you only score one you are asking him to pitch a shutout every game. No goalie is going to do that. Quincey to the box. Time for the PK to step up. A shorthander would be nice -

I see where you are coming from GMR. Gudas was riding Helm into him, it was pretty clear Helm was trying to avoid but couldn't. I could have seen why they would have made the call, but I would also be pissed if that call went against the Wings were the situation reversed. -

Flyers coaches challenge. Replay on NBCSN says no contact, Helm was nowhere near the paint. Helm bumped the glove but he wasn't in the paint and Helm was trying to avoid him, the Dman was pushing him into Neuvirth. Call is good goal. I'm pleased with this, but a bit surprised. Gudas was preventing Helm from avoiding him. Karma came back to bite him. -

Abdelkader getting mugged in front of the net, Gudas comes out of the box and punks Zetterberg. The guy is a piece of s***. I loathe cheap shots, but if he took a butt end into soft tissue I wouldn't complain. -

Gudas mugging Datsyuk. Puts a chokehold on him, tries to slip it into a sleeper hold, the goes for the hammerlock before the takedown following up with an elbow to the back. It would be nice if the PP scored to make him pay, but that kind of crap needs a shot follow through to his face (no penalty for a high stick if it is a shot follow through) Post! -
