I think our issue with our current D is that they think we can still come out of our own end like we used to. I'm all for puck possession but without Lids, Raf and Stuart who were all excellent passers ( lesser with Stuart) we need to learn to hack the puck out a bit more and go from there.

The guy has played completely different this time up..he has used his speed more which is his biggest asset He is playing like he doesnt want to go back to GR this time which is refreshing. Over handles the puck sometimes but so do other guys on this team. Hope he keeps it up

I'll take the good with the bad, it was his 1st game..obviously a little nervous..made a couple horrible passes coming out of our end but also made some good passes and some good dumps out of our end...plays his position well it seems and doesn't seem fazed by the moment.

If D and Z are not on the same line for the rest of the year I will not defend Babcock anymore.

This team has no goal scorers, Franzen is supposed to score..he doesn't...Brunner was scoring..he's not ...and tonight the rest of the team just stick handles into the corner..does a button hook and lose the puck. We are so easy to defend.

I can't figure this out either..Stevie Y is the reason I'm a Wings fan but he is not a good GM. TB is complete garbage, they have 2-3 good players, a bunch of chumps, and no goalies. In the last 20 years we have won a cup every 5 years, I will admit this team is going to have to go on some kind of absolute heater this year to make it anywhere if we don't make some moves but questioning this franchises decisions about trades, free agency and player development is asinine !

Where do you come up with this stuff...I agree, great world jr's, good AHL season but the guy has played 2 NHL games and was good in 1 of them. If they thought Mrazek was as good as you think he is we wouldn't be trying to get Jimmy signed. Your man love for this guy is borderline weird. If Mrazek has to be the piece involved to get us a top 6 goal scorer such as Ryan or Vanek I would ship him out in a heartbeat. Jimmy is hear for the long run and I feel great about that.

It's a bad deal signing Howard to a 5 year deal? Let me guess you think we should offer him 2 years at 2.5 per? 14-8, 920 save %, 2.37 GAA on a team with serious defensive issues early on. He is a top 10 goalie and deserves to get paid as such.
