This exactly, silly move..eye for an eye..thats the end of it..no one is hurt..move on.

Yea because thats what the real tough guys of the league do. Beating a guy up while he is laying on the ground is the manly thing to do...ask all the tough guys in the league i'm sure they would agree with you

This team has turned out to be like a box of chocolates ! Even the most negative people around here couldn't find anything wrong with that one. -

I'm not throwing Jimmy under the bus but let's be honest the guy has not been very good the last two games...end of story. Our D has not been very good but he has let in some weak ones. -
I would be willing to wager a bet that Thomas never plays again in the NHL.
-
Thomas might not want to play ever again now that he's stuck on the Isle.

4-2 Wings...beat them a week ago..lose to two s***ty teams since..hell if i can figure this out. -
On a side note can you tell me who has the best plus minus of any of our D playing tonight? Yep..thats right..everyone's favorite whipping boy Kyle Quincey at +3 lol
-
He didn't play during the lockout and he looked like a kid on a sugar/adrenaline high for the first 7-8 games. Just excited to be back out there. Now he looks like the kid who has crashed from that sugar high.

You get fed up with everything and we all know about it because you start a thread every 12 seconds. Maybe you are soft?
-
Howard= needs a rest He hasn't been good the last couple of games but throwing him under the bus at this point is such fair weather fan crap. Get Mrazek in now. Jimmy needs a rest bad and we need to see what this guy can do.

By the sounds of it watching that 1st period might have been like work haha
-
That they are awful to watch? I'm still at work so I'm not even watching yet lol.
-
No one is forcing you to watch are they?
-
You have to be on some kind of uppers. Holy crap. You're like that person on FB who post's a status update and then is the first person to respond to their own update

So you're the hockey expert? I'm confused..

And you thought only Holmstrom got hosed on Goalie Interference calls
puckbags replied to Jedi's topic in General
The amount of penalties called this year has been ridiculous. So sick of having 2 refs on the ice..go back to one set of eyes..so much of the time the ref closest to the play isn't even the one calling the penalty anyways. I agree with reviewing plays like goalie interference..if the goalie comes outside the blue paint the player should be able to stand right up against him as long as he's not pushing him out of position. -
Well in hindsight of course but like I said you take the guy who you think will help your team the best and hope it works out. Go back and read the scouting on Kindl..he wasn't just a huge risk pick by us..this kid was supposed to be a very good Nhl'er..hasn't worked out that way..questioning our European scouting would be crazy though..didnt hit the jackpot on Kindl. Buffalo took Marek Zagrapan 13th over all that year..he didn't play a game in the NHL..at least Kindl was good enough to get a shot lol
-
Like who ? Its a late first rounder..look at the draft and tell me who came after Kindl in that first round that was a sure fire blue chip pick?Oshie, Cogliano, Niskanen and Downie are all serviceable guys but none of them are lighting the league on fire. Rask would've been a nice pick but we weren't looking for goalies at the time. If Holland could've looked into a crystal ball i'm sure he would've loved to have taken James Neal or Paul Statsny. He took a chance on a big kid who was supposed to have good puck moving skills..clearly it hasn't worked out the way he hoped but as we've seen with the draft its alot about good scouting and some luck...I think we have had our fair share of both of those with our draft picks.

It will happen so fast he won't get a chance to smile.

All the sh*t and abuse you have wade through is better than any monetary sum you could receive isnt it?
-
Ill take the under on both in hopes that our 3rd or 4th line snipes a few goals tonight and Hoodles poops his pants watching Dats play on the other team
-
I think it's a good spot for Bert, he can move up if needed but at this point of his career he's a 3rd liner and 2nd unit PP guy. As for Cleary his spot should be about 50 rows up in the press box.
-
40 pts? I will willing to take all bets on that..he wouldn't get 40 pts in a 82 game season.

Jesus dude..we had a bad night..we beat arguably the best team in the west last night. 4-3-1. Stinker against St. Louis on opening night and this hunk of garbage tonight. Relax
