Sportsnet is just going on and on and on and on about this fight. They are trying to paint the Red Wings as some kind of goon squad lol. It's over. It was a decent sized little brawl between the benches. Get over it.

Great effort tonight. Both goalies were excellent. Worst turnover of the night ended up in our net. It's scary how much better of a goalie Howard is than Mrazek at this point. This team isn't good enough to do this snowflake goalie tandem. Play Jimmy as long as he's hot. This made me laugh. Not out loud but that kind of laugh when you fart in public and no one actually heard it.

Guy needs to get an itchy trigger finger really quick. I'm getting really sick of watching him stickhandle to no where.

Moral victories are for losers but we played hard tonight. My problem is that we don't even have our best players on the ice at the end of the game. Jensen was great all night and is nowhere to be seen at the end of the game.

I think everyone knew that 4-1 team was a bit of a fraud. Losing is one thing. Losing when you don't even put in any effort is frustrating.

When you have a D that turns the puck over this much and can't get the forwards the puck it doesn't matter if you have a team of Ovechkins, Crosby's and McDavids. Green checks his stick when he goes off the ice. Always the sticks fault.

He should've had that last one but when we give up 12 good scoring chances in a period some of them will go in.

Until Holland realizes what a glaring issue our D is we will a terribly inconsistent team. Cmon Errorson is on the top D unit tonight. That's embarassing. Green, Daley and Jensen are decent but Errorson, Ooooooooolet and Kronwall are garbage.

Guy signs for less than he originally was offered. Played his hand really early. Kenny knew a young kid doesn't want to play in Russia. AA went to Switzerland to once again pretend he was interested in playing overseas. Once again his bluff was called. Holland got him signed for less money. Kenny won't get any credit for it. Pretty simple

I don't think he was defending Howard's play this week either but it's clear to see that Mrazek just isn't that good. That game tying goal is just a typical Red Wings in their own end comedy of errors. We are going to play a lot of one goal games this year and how we do will depends on cutting that dumb sh*t out of our game.

Sometimes I wonder if Blashill is even watching the game. Abby gets off on goalie interference as he should have and then 2 minutes later he uses the challenge on the JVR interference that wasn't as bad as Abby. These two teams are frauds. If the Leafs think they can grind out games late in the season and playoffs with their D and goaltending they are mistaken. Screens or not it would be nice to see him fight for his position and look like he wants to make the saves.

It would be awesome to see some of these guys right this second but the big issue is we have zero flexibility unless someone gets hurt.

Its pretty scary that a guy approaching 40 years old is our best player most nights.

Call me old school but I put Howard right back in goal. We lost way too may 1 goal games last year. He's hot. He's our best goalie right now. Keep him in there.

Bad first period and then they played great after that. We got pucks in the corners and actually made them spend more than 4 seconds in their own end. Special teams and Jimmy have been excellent.

I do not understand this move. Guy plays great for two games, gets 2 days rest and Blashill plays our second best goalie.

Obscene that Howard isn't in the 3 stars.

Bottom line is we have worked hard two games in a row. Jimmy has been amazing. This season will come down to us winning these one goal games ( we played 45 of them last year ). Errorson is a ticking time bomb, played pretty good all night and then that. If Kronwall comes back and they take Jensen or X out of the lineup instead of Errorson i will be pissed but it wont surprise me.

Why are you shocked? He's not very good. And don't tell me he didn't get a chance. He played 30 games, doesn't play good in his own end, doesn't use his size, rarely showed any offensive skill etc... Is this a case of you overvaluing him because he's in our organization?. If the other 30 teams don't want him there is a pretty good reason for that. Maybe he can keep developing in GR and prove me and everyone else wrong but right now he's totally expendable. You can't just say they are mismanaged because they aren't very good. Sproul, Jurco etc.. are not NHL material. How big of a sample size do you want? Sproul played almost 30 games. That was plenty for most people to see he's not very good, or at least not worth trying to fit him into the lineup. At this point he's probably 10th or 11th on the D depth chart. Won't even get a sniff at the NHL

At this point I think he at least deserves the chance to play his way off the team. Not the other way around.
