I feel like we've been wanting/trying to move Green at the deadline since he came here. I've given up on the idea, he here to the end. Something going to happen like it always does, he'll get hurt, sick, lose a tooth sometime in January and we won't be able to move him.

Agree, I happened to be lucky enough to be at a few when games when someone got Kronwalled. I wish the Wings had more chants. I was also lucky to be at the Joe when the first time the TODD-BER-TU-ZZI chant happen. Loved it, we need more of this badly. We don't have to go full Nashville, but it's been lacking over the years to say the least.

Thanks you Niklas Kronwall for all the great memories. Sadly with Knrowall retiring we lose one of best chants as well. I'll miss hits like this:

I pretty much only go to HFboards during the playoffs because the banter gets good and reading people cry about losing because NHL loves X team more than Y can be entertaining. Sometimes I keep an eye on it on FA day. Game Day threads are okay in the RedWing section, but I only go there when it's super slow here. Outside of that, 90% of the forms posts are invaded by TOR fans at some point and turn the topic into something about them no matter what. Within 3-4 posts, doesn't take long.

I'd rather not. Reddit great for many things, but I come to LGW for the sense of community feeling reddit just doesn't have.

I think CHI tried Kane at center for a moment. It was pretty fail if I remember right. 2011 or 2012, I forget. Lafreniere is compared to Kane the most from what I've been reading. I'd rather him just stay wing.

Anyone not named Larkin, should be in play for Risto if the option is available in my opinion. Most of Risto flaws can be easily summed up in 3 reasons. 1.Buffalo 2.Buffalo 3.He's 24 The guy 24, hits and blocks everything that moves 6'4 220lb and can play huge mins with 4 straight season of 40+ points. Oh and just happens to shot right. He's a power play beast, god knows we need help on the power play.

I think Jacob Markstrom is a solid goalie. He has put decent numbers on a weak VAN team. Should be even better this year. I am not sold on Lehner outside of a Barry Trotz system. Should be a cheaper than Lehner. Krug would be nice, great offensive mind on the back-end that we just don't have. I think you need at least one guy like that. Knowing some BOS fans over the years, they seem to have a love-hate relationship with him. Because of his defensive laps. But hes a PP beast and a performs in the playoffs. If we just don't resign some dead weight or trade it and signed Markstrom, I think I would be happy with that off-season.

Still good to see a team with balls send a offer to a RFA of high value. Doesn't happen often. I'd like to see it happen more, force the other teams hand for a change.

Datz kind of comes to mind for me. He had great acceleration, but his top end speed never appeared to be very fast. More so as he aged.
