We rank 15th, bottom third would be 21-30. Our issue is scoring on the road. We rank #6 in goals at home, and 26th in goals on the road. Good point. I'm sure if there was a stat out their of goals in the past 6 weeks we would be higher.

Yep......this thread is a perfect example. We just won a very important divisional game and this thread come 11pm is 10 pages. 1 month ago after a loss, it would be 20 pages by now. It was their 2nd game in 2 days, but it was also their 2nd game in 5 days. As professional athletes, this should not have much of an effect.

If thats the case, I would like to see what Mitch Callahan can do in MIller's role. Leave Anderson in the press box, insert Jurco and Callahan in. That's what I would like to see. I'm guessing Anderson is in on 4th line though.

I like Byfuglien, but he seems to be the type of player who will decline quickly as he gets into his 30's.Trading our future for him IMO would be a horrible move. Not to mention the fact that he will be a UFA.

I cant even compare the two. Mantha was an CHL'er who hadn't even played a NHL game yet. In that case, I get it. Larkin has played in 23 NHL games and has 17 points. My point, is to put him in the same conversation with McDavid and Eichel IMO is not something that ridicoulas. He has outperformed both of them this year and deserves to be treated with the same respect.

If he doesnt demand too much, I could see them making a play for Reimer in the offseason.

Frank, I am not saying that Eichel or McDavid are not good. You are criticizing people for overhyping Larkin and I am pointing out your hypocrisy when you do the exact same thing but to a stronger degree with Eichel or McDavid. I'm sorry, but Larkin has shown more this year then either of those two, and I can say the exact same thing to you, that you said to me "Watch highlights from Larkin and tell me again he is overhyped". I also find it funny that you make your strong judgements on players from just watching highlights. I would rather watch them for a full 60min. Plus, you were saying things like "Eichel & McDavid are generational playesr" before they even played their first NHL game. I wouldnt trade Larkin for Stamkos, giving up our future for a rental would be an extremely dumb move. I'm guessing you are just doing your whole "I don't want to be disappointed, I would rather be positively surprised thing" with Larkin.

I hope he gets suspended. The only way to rid the game of crap like this is harsh punishments. With everything we know now in terms of concussions and CTE, head and neck shots need to be zero tolerance.

Wasn't the goal that tied the game a give away by Kronwall as well? It was hard for me to see, but from my vantage point it seemed like his fault (mind you I was on the other side of the arena).

Not saying I would trade him for Crosby, but since when is a 28 year old in his prime "old". Its tough to move a kid with so much potential, but I guess I would trade him for a young #1 d-man, or a young stud like a Tyler Seguin. I dont feel like going through a list.

It really is true. Some of the highlights from back then really show you how much better the players are now a days.

No worries, I actually prefer more scoring. I am a big fantasy hockey guy, and I like it when a players are just dominant. Like I said, my comments were more so comparing extreme's and the OHL game I went to was an example of an extreme. When I say I prefer a 1-0 game over a 9-8 game mean it, but obviously there is a middle gorund. I am not sure what to do to increase scoring, I would have to really think about it.

I feel like your argument is directed at people who posted before me. I was simply saying that I would rather have a low scoring game with chances then a high scoring game where the goals mean nothing. I wasn't saying I was against one extra goal per game, not sure where you got that from what I said.

I couldn't agree more. It really is the old saying "less is more". I was at a Spits game earlier this year and I think the score was something along the lines of 8-6, and it got to a point then when a goal was scored I really didn't care. I would take a 2-1 game with a ton of chances over a 8-6 game where the goals mean nothing any day.

If it came from a message board, I wouldn't take it as anything more then a Columbus fan with unrealistic expectations.
