Put Smith on the PP! Absolutely ridiculous. DD is brutal single hardly killed a full minute on his own today. He has never done anything positive on the PP and I don't expect him to. Smith deserves that spot on the PP. He has the 2nd best shot from our defense and has a touch of offensive instincts

Yes Howard gets absolutely no flack on this forum. He has played bad and cost us games but this game was not on him. Blame scheduling. Our only chance would be if we could net some on the PP. The team looked very tired. Especially our top lines and defensemen

They've played 4 games in 6 nights. The top guns were gassed. Babcock should have maybe inserted some of the guys who didn't play as much up to the top line because the bottom 6 looked better than the top 6

I'm not a huge Howard supporter but he was easily the Wings best player. Every line was outplayed. I don't think Wings would score a goal even if Howard stood on his head and gave up 0 goals

We have like 5 scoring chances and have scored 0 goals. We never lost this game because of Jimmy. 1 goal was bad but it was also a 2 on 1 with Ericsson as the defender doing a whole lot of nothing

Brodeur is so washed up. He goes and demands a trade at the deadline like some team is going to want him as a rental to win the Stanley cup. He should retire

Other teams seem to get a lot more frustrated and angry at Franzen then they ever did at Flippula

Whaaa... Bert has been solid since being called up and I'm a bonafide Bertuzzi hater. 4th line looks like a scoring threat I'd keep that group together when healthy.

I'm sure Weiss hasn't gone from a 60 point player to an AHLer after one trade. He will be effective in some capacity. Impossible to trade anyways -
4th line is nice Miller-Andersson-Bert There might be use for old Bert yet. Results are showing on the power play
