We really should be undefeated since Olympic break the team has played solid hockey for the most part and deserved to win every game. Luck will turn.

This is what happens to seeming 85% of goalies after they sign a huge contract. Hopefully he can bounce back next year cause he seems to be totally shot for the year. I'd go with Gustavsson until he lays a dud. -

Played soid winning hockey since the Olympic break all these games we should have won. No smart GM is going to count on Helm to be healthy and be an effective 2nd line center for a whole year. I wouldn't be surprised if Holland buys him out. Then this place will really explode. -

Bertuzzi, Cleary and the rest of our scrubs are untradeable this forum needs to get that through their head. We're lucky we were able to unload Eaves for nothing. Vanek wouldn't do a lick of good if he's got Andersson setting him up as his center. Andersson would be our #1 center right now if we hadn't made that trade let me remind you -
Sacrificing Jarnkrok to make the playoffs is worth it to me. It would be nice to end this disastrous season on a positive especially for the young guys. This stretch will be huge for them and will be pretty damn exciting for a Red Wings fan.

You're upset we traded Jarnkrok. Who is 3-4 years from maybe being an effective NHL player for a center we desperately needed. But you'd give up Nyquist/Tatar for Erhoff?
