Fans can't see the direction the team is heading. Their frustration doesn't allow them to perceive things objectively. The rebuild is happening right in front of us. As of now I think we have two great pieces in Larkin and Mrazek- potential core players of the future.

I'm not sure if this was the point of what he meant but Holland does appear to favour Michigan players. DD, Abby and Glendening got above market value deals but then again so do a lot of our resignees 🤔 -

Can't afford to be too picky. Fowler is a legit top 4 that is still very young with a lot of NHL experience and would probably be the wings best defensemen. Trading for a #1 elite defenseman is pretty hard when you don't have that kind of talent to send back The time is now to start phasing out Kronwall and E. I don't think Holland is dumb enough to be expecting bounce back seasons from those two going forward -

Looks like Pulks might be ready for training camp -
McDavid is pretty incredible and he knows it. That mixture of size and speed is unstoppable. Matthews looks great as well. The rest of the forwards are pretty even nobody really stood out more than the other

Tuned in late and seen maybe two shifts by Larkin both with goals against. Not really his fault on the goals, some bad defense and goaltending. He's going to have trouble being a dominant force on his own until he starts to get stronger and heavier. Right now his game is based purely on speed

Uh oh. Couldn't watch the game but he got an assist and 5 SOG with close to 15 minutes of ice time. Seems like he played well. How did he look?

I've questioned the net front presence as well. For one it takes a forward out of the play to be a passing option also it makes it easy for the defenders to block lanes. Wings seem to have the toughest time getting shots through that I've seen Being a screen is important but you have to be clever and help the offense and get in front at the right time -
