Trotz has had the same problems in the playoffs tho with some great teams. Couldn't find the goals when they were carrying play. I think this was two evenly matched teams but Pitts got the big goals -
Missing the game tonight but from what I've seen I was really impressed by Lehtonen in this series

Huge problem for Tatar and Nyquist was playing on that third line together with limited minuted. I used to blame Blashill for this but I think it's more of Holland's fault he never provided the team with enough big bodies that can score competently. One line was going to be screwed because of the lack of balance with the forwards

How many more playoff points does Andersson have than goose? You're putting so much stock in this percentage when Andersson just happened to get an assist these playoffs there's no reason to believe based on these stats that Andersson will be a more consistent scorer in the playoffs and you know that. Just a random stat that is unusual you can find them for anything

I mean our defense sucks but as a defensive group they are pretty solid but in today's NHL a defensemen has to do more than just play defense. Puck possession has to be much better and that's on the forwards and defense. The issue is not enough talent through the lineup -
We could save so much money by inserting Marchenko and a guy from GR to replace Quincey and Ericsson with no real drop off

I think both San Jose and Nashville possibly St. Louis would beat any of the teams left in the East. Dallas plays a really high tempo sloppy brand of hockey so it's hard to judge how good St. Louis is because the games are kind of ugly. San Jose and Nashville is the best hockey to watch right now without a doubt -

Larkin playing such a huge role at center is very exciting hopefully Blashill gives him the opportunity next year

So three straight years Zetterberg is dog poo in the playoffs... I am going to hate his contract cause you know he's not going anywhere. He runs this team Imagine thinking Z will help your team score a goal in the final seconds. He will always be out there for those moments despite how bad he is. Blashill doesn't have the balls to make him sit. The organization treats him like he's Crosby what do you expect. I bet it alienates the young guys as well -
