Good effort all 60 minutes. If Howard was a bit sharper I think they win more comfortably

I agree I would be running with Howard from now on as well

This team has a lot of weird quirks like Howard I am confident can keep the game tight but more likely to blow it late and it's the opposite for Mrazek

I'm usually pro Ericsson just because of how negative everyone is towards him I don't think he's that bad but switching him and Smith could be a pivotal moment for the defense. They have been completely awful down the stretch and with Marchenko up as a shut down guy I think we need smith in the lineup. Sitting Ericsson might smarten everyone up I also agree with Blash in moving AA and Mantha to the fourth line because their defense is nowhere near ready to be competitive top six players. Hopefully they get a lot of looks and I think Glendening has been great down the stretch providing a lot of energy. That should be a good line

Losing a game where they scored 3 powerplay games is such a waste. This is a very tough loss to stomach

Yeah Montreal is a truly bad team and was nothing special today either. Wings would have lost to anybody tonight

Hard to find something positive Blashill has added to this team. He hasn't figured out the NHL. If next year is the same he should be fired mid season. Pretty obvious when watching this team is poorly coached. Idk why people expect Blashill to learn the ropes with the wings. Can't spend 4 years with a bad coach. It doesn't benefit anybody but himself

Mrazek having a Nyquist tier second half of the season

Detroit's weaknesses: goaltending, offense, defense and coaching

This is a fragile team can't afford to have a trash goalie giving up softies we won't win another game Jimmy should be playing
