I've been happy with the decisions Blash has made on the goalie tandem so far but Mrazek should get a few starts in a row just to keep the tandem fair based on performance. Give Howard another shot soon but not after Mrazek gets a few starts to himself But remember last year? Howard was being a turd in net and Babs decided to keep going with Mrazek and in a key game where all the pressure was on, he flubbed and lost the game for us against Boston. Then Babs went back to Howard. Mrazek is not as consistent as everyone makes him out to be. He hasn't really had a chance to this year but he still has a lot to prove

Jurco-Sheahan-Tatar will start together next game mark my words. They'll be a major 🔑 Going forward. They looked dynamic together Do what you must with the rest. Nyquist doesn't deserve a promotion but maybe it will spark him. Ideally I want Helm on the fourth because that's where he has played his best hockey this season

Every statistic points to us being the far better team since the second period started. Can't remember the last time we had so many quality scoring chances in a game actually lol. We were much worse against Minnesota

Mrazek has a bad glove hand

That was beautiful by Tats Ozzie never giving up hope. Wings have been the much better team

I think Winnepeg is a really underrated team and don't see why they can't be one of the best teams in the league. They seem like a stacked team to me

Wings offense is sloppy, has been all year. When our offense is clicking and we're winning games we carry possession numbers and score ugly goals, maybe convert on a PP here and there, that's how we have won all year

Nothing more frustrating then see Smith blow beauty plays like that, even when he creates them. You see he has everything to be the exact defensemen we need but just doesn't have it between the ears We've been the better team imo

I think the wings have played pretty well from what I've seen. Howard and a piss poor PP is the big difference, sums up the whole game

And at terrible points in the game which guarantee losses. Very early shorthanded, okay wings were sloppy still a 5.2M goalie is paid for stops like that... 5 on 3 okay that's fine... Wings looking a lot better out shooting them badly trying to get back in the game, wrister from the face off circle aaaand the games over. Howard ensures this loss. Wings came out sluggish but no game is over in the first 10 minutes, they responded well

Fact is its 3 goals on 9 shots. No team in the NHL can win with that kind of goaltending. And in back to back games. If it wasn't for his pay cheques Howard wouldn't start a game for a while with any other team

I don't even feel bad for Howard anymore. Back to back games he doesn't give his team a chance and it's over before the halfway mark. He can rot in the bench for a while feeling sorry for himself

I'm usually a Holland supporter but in hindsight didn't he kind of royally screw up by only getting 1 Stanley Cup and 2 Finals appearances with 2 of the very best two way centres of this generation along with one of, if not the very best defensemen of all time?

I'm just going to save my frustration and just accept we are not doing anything noteworthy in this league until the GR crew is full time NHLers. Just a bunch of placeholders out there doing a serviceable job

Our best player is Z and he's not a top 40 player in this league... Buff, Ladd, Wheeler, Trouba+ all better than our very best player

You can blame our consistency issues on the fact that our core is built around Z, Dats and Kronwall... None are a top 40 player in the league. Every team in the league has a better #1 player than us but we've got depth

Take out Abdelkader and this team is junior league soft. Dats and Z are our best players and they're old, they can't consistently play strong along the boards and take pucks to the net. They fall back into a perimeter game. Same goes with Tatar and Nyquist but for different reasons. We'll never consistently perform offensively for very legitimate reasons. Nobody to blame but Holland even though I'm a holland supporter. We're just not ready to be real winners for a couple more years

Richards needs to go away and Helm needs to move into a fourth line energy role

That's a really bad hit on Gordon. He was clearly trying to hurt him when he knew he was in a vulnerable position. Like Mick always says if players showed more respect for each other these injuries wouldn't happen, he had no play on the puck, no need to make that hit

Gregg Button loves Sajaarvi says he is going to be a star in the NHL. He's been the best player out there for sure
