I just think about who is more likely to score on Dats wing, Tatar/Nyquist or Jurco/Pulkinnen... The top six has our best players and should be counted on to do most of our scoring. Not having depth scoring down to the third line isn't going to break us. Load up the talent up front because we arent scoring, we don't have the luxury of having amazing depth -

Yeah this makes no sense to me... Especially since we can't score... What other teams stick two 30 goal scorers on the third line when they're one of the worst scoring teams in the league -

The fourth line was getting offensive zone starts. I think our biggest problem with scoring is not giving minutes to the right guys -

Imagine how many goals Nyquist and Tatar would have if they actually got ice time Richards-Datsyuk-Jurco wtf that's just stuborness by Blashill. He thinks he's some amazing tactician using our best goal scorers on the third line against weaker competition but it's obviously backfiring. They get no ice time and we struggle to score, pretty obvious solution. I'm sure Pulkinnen will be back to solve our top six scoring woes -

Blashill is an idiot. We can't score goals and he is treating our two best goal scorers as depth guys. Nobody in the top six are goal scorers and we can't score who would have thought. -

Can't be giving our leading scorers too many minutes. Let's stick jurco with our best player and wonder why they can't score. I'm happy to see jurco in the lineup but not putting one of our good scorers in the top six is a joke. Blashill is being stupid keeping Tatar and nyquist on the third line you'd think he would clue in when we can only score more than two goals against Ottawa and Edmonton -

Yeah I get it... Thought you meant you'd rather see him on the fourth line even if Pulkinnen is sitting

Marchenko can be a top 4 one day.. depends if the coach wants a shut down guy playing the top 4 or if we have more offensive guys at that point. Defensemen have been able to develop an offensive game later in their careers so who knows. He's only played 30 something games

Why would you want Jurco to play on the 4th line? I understand wanting him in the lineup and if theirs no room in the top 9, but their is room. You think he would be more useful as a grinder?

I say give it 3 more games or so and Jurco should be given another shot with Pulkinnen sitting. My worry is Blashill will not make the obvious lineup changes and make a line of Richards-Datsyuk-Jurco or something. Jurco on the third and one of Nyqvist or Tatar moved to Dats wing and we have the ideal lineup I think Pulkinnen is a good NHLer and deserves to play, but with this roster it makes no sense

I'm not counting on him for offence, but his breakout passes and defensive play is great. Definitely a good NHLer at this point and he should stay in the lineup. He'll be a good replacement for Q and he's cheap with a lot of upside. With more experience we could see him get more physical. You could see he reads the play well and will step and break up a lot of plays in the neutral zone.

Honestly felt like we gave you three scoring chances all game and they all ended up in our net. Just some bad plays in an otherwise great game. The miscue on the PK, left man open in the slot and the terrible giveaway by Helm/kronwall. These things happen but the timing was ridiculous -

Would it be a big deal to move Pulkinnen for like a 3rd round pick? I can't see teams willing to give up assets for him knowing the situation we're in -
