I am really excited to see a Tootoo/Helm/Abby line. That is a scary fourth line to play against not only physically but could also give the team 80pts. -

Agreed, or Suter is just waiting for Parise to make a choice so he can decide if he could see himself playing there or not. I still think he comes here, maybe I have to think that for my sanity. -
I could deal with one or the other but it would be to much to get two players who are major health risks.

I don't think we will see a trade this early. Holland will fill the holes via free agency and at the deadline in the winter if needed. It is to early for trades IMO unless it is a slam dunk deal like 7 draft picks for 1.

I would think Ryan, or even Kovy would be more reasonable. I have a feeling most of these teams want flip.

Basically kovy's contract ends when he retires, so all that matters is how is he going to be producing when he is 35-40ish? If he can stay at a relatively high level with only a 6.6 cap hit he would be a steal. -

If we strike out with Prust and Moen then yes, but if Eaves comes back healthy there isn't room for both. Ott is a goon that picks on the smallest players on the opposing team. -
An incentive laden contract would be ideal. If Parise doesn't come I would be thrilled with Semin, Suter, Mueller, and Prust.

The "what have you done for me lately" quote is a slippery slope. That is the era we are in, and why wouldn't a GM go all out to make his team better? Yes Holland has been great for this organization but at the same time if he sits back and does not make major changes this year I think it does blemish his legacy at least a little bit.

If we don't get Suter he did fail, that's how this game is played. I don't need to have Parise but Pasha needs help so an NHL proven top 6 forward is my expectation.
