We should trade for their prospect Brodin, he is EXACTLLY what we need...

They do have some really nice young talent in Granlund and Brodin so if they can keep developing their prospect they might be really dangerous in a couple of years.

How much have you actually seen him play tho? I agree he didn't get much of a chance i Ottawa but that is also for a reason, the kid CAN'T play defense... he is a complete disaster in the defensive zone, among the worst I've ever seen actually.

I've seen this guy play A LOT in both the SEL and the world juniors and yes he does put up some points but he is completely worthless in his own zone and he falters under pressure, whenever someone forechecks hard on him he coughs up pucks left, right and center. Having him on our team would give me a heart attack Trust me his upside is not even close to good enough to make him a viable option for us, I even have doubt that he will ever be a solid NHLplayer, he seems cut out for the big european ice.

Rundblad is just freaking awful... If they get him we would be in serious trouble. The boy can't play defense to save his life...

I really believe Brunnström could be a good NHL player and I'm happy to see that he is not giving up but instead digging in and giving it his all, you only get one shot like this in your life better make the most of it.

Why does everyone seem to think that Pav and Semin would be so great together? is it for no other reason than that they happen to both be russian? I watched most of the world cup this year and they played decent together but it was nothing out of the ordinary at all.

I might be biased but i want Zetterberg on that list... He might not be the best at one single thing but he does it all and he brings it to a completely new level when it's an important game, just an incredibly valuable player and he has to be a coaches dream.
