thats correct but holland lazyly sat by thinking Lidstrom would no doubt come back again i think he was shocked to see him go but i think he should have been on the ball as far back as knowing staurt was high tailing it and when Rafalski retired he should have been all over it but because he waited now his got this shut off switch and in denial thinking we are a great team we are a 10th or 11th place team at best right now and when we are healthy maybe 9th or 8th one line cant get it done we are getting nothing from Flips Cleary etc i agree with others to give the younger guys the time becausde they are hungry enough to do it and Z and Dats are our only Vets in it

im not shocked we are dowbn 3-2 the 1st period was decent 2nd we fell apart and Minn took advantage not totally blaming Mrzaek our D blows big time but again we just freakin wont keep a lead

You have a valide point my friend there is going to be a few years ahead that are going to be rough for us i dont see us ever really getting back to the DEAD Wings era but i do see a few hit and misses with the playoffs and as i said in another post we have all become spoiled and acustom to expecting a deep run or a cup and after 21 years and 4 cups we really cant complain we are always going to be looked back on as a great team that every respext but sooner or later ppl wont fear us as they use to because every team goes thru a trend of ups and downs and it might finally be are time to slip alittle i see 8th or 9th for us this year but if we get in at 8th never know we could pull a LA

its going to be a good one but we might get lucky and catch the hawks sleeping and thats when we need to light it up GO WINGS lets go 3-2-0 tonight!
