Being an awesome player does not result necessarily in being an awesome coach. Sure, veteran players can teach you a few tricks, but coaching is a lot more than that.

Add their current goaltender Bobrowski to that list and you have roster that can win you Stanley Cups. I was always under the impression this was just said to calm things down after Torts showed his genius skills in handling players again. If it is true it would drive down prices for Johansen considerably. But I doubt it. I think there is something to what Frank said : Torts may be one reason why Johansen wants to leave. Calling him out openly may have been the tipping point for him.

With those white gloves it reminds me of the Red Power Ranger. To be clear : I like them, it's just a very trashy 80s/90s style.

If Jurcos work ethic was a problem he would be scratched or buried in GR for good. He certainly wouldn't be send on a conditioning stint.
