2017 Stanley Cup Finals: Nashville Predators vs. Pittsburgh Penguins

It's Ovechkin. He doesn't cry. He's with the models making us gentleman cry instead. -
What are you talking about? Larkin is strong on the puck. That's not his problem. His problem was pure scoring. Besides, he's 6'1 and weighs 190 at a very young age. That's a good size in today's hockey considering he'll naturally gain more weight by the time he hits his prime.

So what's your opinion now Jonas? Still elite?

Crosby isn't like Lebron. Lebron is one of the best two way players in the NBA, the guy can play any position. He's like the Sergei Fedorov except much better and closer to Wayne Gretzky in terms of individual abilities, playing in a modern era. He's passed Michael Jordan in all time NBA scoring in playoffs already. And defensively he's been ranked top 3 like 6 times in his career. The only thing is Lebron isn't as successful as Jordan in the playoffs in terms of winning, and Lebron's a cocky little twerp (much better with age though) that team hops to try and win championships and makes sure to play in a weak conference, which is unlike Crosby. -

More like 50. Last year should have been Kessel. But the world "undeservedly" might apply to Crosby like once, and a million times to Toews. Which is why I don't mind Crosby getting it. Anything that helps him re-establish sense into hockey media and press. Hopefully they drool on Crosby for the next 4 or 5 years. -

Good s***, another point against Toews. Crosby wins two MVPs in a row. -

It's official. Jonathan Toews is no longer the FAKE Canadian hockey hero. Welcome back Crosby and Malkin. Take your place amongst the #1 and 2 spot as you deserve it. -

I disagree, much like Weber and other superstars, there are times where the refs have given him leniency. It happens. Superstars get away with things and it's not just the NHL. Hell Lebron James elbowed a guy in the nuts in the NBA finals series a few days ago and got away with it. These professional leagues aren't very objective. Repeat offenders get harder punishments (NHL hearings mention this all the time). Superstars are given the benefit of the doubt. Crosby plays with a ton of heart, best player in the game, best generational talent in the last 15 years. Don't disagree with any of them But Leftwinger isn't wrong. He just doesn't know how to argue with you guys. -

I mean the bottom line is Crosby should have gotten a penalty for it. Regardless of how extreme of an argument Leftwinger is making and the rest of you are to make fun of him. Crosby should have gotten a penalty period. Regardless of whether or not it was on purpose. 5th goal may not have happened, Preds could have scored on the PP they should have gotten and could have turned the tide. Speculations but still, the penalty should have been called nonetheless. Let's be honest, Crosby does get away with too much s***. Guy nearly chopped another guys finger off and nothing came about it. I think that's the point here. Beyond all the water bottle bulls***, the point is Crosby gets away with things and the bottle is just a small example of it. Next, Crosby crosschecked Subban's head literally 10 times and got a godam matching minor for it along with Subban. This dude literally gets away from anything, anywhere and at any time whether it's a water bottle, finger chopping, head cross checking. -

Crosby must be part Swedish for Lefty to go off like this. -
It's corporate owned and also bulk tickets people try to re-sell on Stubhub.
-
Even if we were elite, that's never going away. Corporate owned tickets will be a part of the Red Wings ticket sales. But I guess if we're elite the ticket holder might be more inclined to show up. Maybe not.

The last time we were successful and won a Cup was in 2008 almost a decade ago. We have still continued to sell out. So hush. And the LCA is slated to sell out within a few days of season ticket availability. The Wings are as popular as ever with the new arena being in Midtown.

Chocolate icecream? I guess Vanilla is technically better. If Zetterberg is Don Carleone, Crosby is Michael. He's an idiot but also invincible. -
Wayne Gretzky was the best coach in all of hockey.

I don't think they play the U.S anthem when two Canadian teams play do they? I don't think it has anything to do with the players on the team. I think it's more about the home turf. If the game is on U.S soil the U.S anthem has to be played, if you're on Canadian soil, the Canadian anthem has to be played. Also I'm pretty sure it has more to do with playing the anthem for the fans and the city of the people that game is being played at or the city that is being represented in the game. Not to do with the players. If it had to do with the players on each team then they would have to start playing the Russian and Swedish anthem too.. So for instance if it's Nashville at Montreal - they should be playing the national anthem that those two cities/ state represent (U.S Anthem and Canadian Anthem), not based off what each individual player on the team represents, whether its 20 canadians, 20 swedes, 20 russians. I.E- The players don't represent the nationality of the team. The city represents the nationality of the team. The Red Wings have a Swedish captain, and a good amount of Canadian and Czech players but the Red Wings are a U.S. American team. Born, raised, funded and headquartered in Detroit. Period.
