Marchand Fined $10,000 For Kronwall Slew Foot

Going to have to start doing this so guys like Marchand get a suspension. Because apparently it's not the intention or the hit itself, but rather the end result of the hit. -

The leagues going to turn into soccer in the next 30 years where players will "Fake injury" so the NHL police hands out higher suspensions because currently it seems that as long as a player isn't injured on the play, regardless of how s***ty a hit was, star players are getting away with suspensions. But yes I agree, someone needs to KO Marchand for this. Ott isn't the guy, he never wins a fight. Probably Abdelkader can come close to it. Or Ericsson. -
Finally a thread we can unload on. It's a troll thread no doubt but it's all good, I think we need it. I had to think pretty hard on this as there's just so many "players" on "this team". I thought a good 15 minutes and this is the list I came up with of "players" on "this team" that fit the category. 1. Bill Berzeench 2. The Axe 3. Crymson 4. Mindflye 5. Number9 Honorable Mention : Shocky2002

My issue is if they're going to police the league more they need to stop being partial towards all star players. It's ridiculous. It's almost a slap to the face when they fine these guys peanuts for money. Just don't fine them then. Not to mention Marchand is a repeat offender. -

Absolutely disgusting response by the NHL. Utterly embarrassed to consider this league one that I've followed and backed as a fan for almost 3 decades. Shea Weber and now this Rat gets away with it. -

Unfortunately he's one tough rat

What if you're knowledgeable and loud

Lol Jacksoni you messed up. Doug Houda coaches the defense. Pat Ferschweiler was last years PP coach that got replaced by John Torchetti, who is now responsible for the PP. We've struck out twice on PP coaching. Which makes me wonder if it's the players.
-
I kinda hope he gets moved. Just to see how he does on another team .

Who else misses Dave Lewis?
-
Hahahaha. Can you imagine? Such a messed up move by Holland.

And all that might be true but my point is that Jurco isn't that young anymore and his time to "prove" himself is getting less and less.
-
At his age, Nyquist and Tatar scored 28 and 29 goals with less NHL games played. My point is Jurco's time is running out, use whoever you want to compare to him. He's 24. That's not that young. This has been talked about for 3 years now, under two different coaches and nothing's changed. We can keep talking about it for another 3 years when he's 27.
-
Frankly 24 is not that young in this scenario. If he was 21 or 22 I'd probably say "well he's got time" but with 24 you're running out of time to prove yourself as it's usually the time your prime kicks in. Around 24/25 was when D and Z recorded their first 30 goal seasons. It was also the age both Tatar and Nyquist record their first career highs. Jurco is lagging bad. Most of it because he's been unable to crack the lineup consistently but regardless the lag is there age wise. What he's been going through is what players at age 21/22 go through (AA, Jonathan Drouin etc). Assuming he has a breakout season in a couple years, that leaves him only 4 good years before he's 30 and declining (if we still use that as an arbitrary benchmark). On the other hand he could have a breakout season now and score 15-20 goals in 30 something games and he's back on track.
-
I think Miller was ironically the guy that assisted Jurco on his first NHL goal lol. It was a beautiful pass.
-
Possibly one last push for Jurco as a Red Wing. It's all upto him now.

The word "Edmonton" just completely makes this entire tnaking argument baseless.

More annoying than Philly fans? -
What is with you always trying to bring up Nyquist when Tatar is being talked about? Tatar sucks this year. There is literally no one on this world who might agree that Tatar is playing well. And since you brought up Nyquist (for some reason). Tatar has only 1 goal in the last 5 games and Nyquist has 2 goals in the last 5 games. Nyquist has 24 points in 47 games and Tatar has 22 points in 47 games and had the luxury of playing on the first line with Mantha and Zetterberg while Nyquist has been playing on the 3rd line primarily. I'm sorry but you just walked into this one and I'm going to definitely stand against false narratives. Hell even Abdelkader did a better job when he played with Zetterberg than Tatar did. You've got to look at the stats, and linemates and you'll see why people are "bagging on him".

Good enough for me, I believe your translation then. You probably have the best perception of Tatar than any of us here, including my homepage (google). Also thank you for explaining the translation here and in the other thread, seems like a lot of work. So would you say Tatar wants to leave based off the two Slovak interviews? I know you've given some translations, but what's your overall assessment? Should we trade him? What does your gut tell you from reading his words?
