As much as ya'll might like these players I honestly think the Organization would trade them in a heart beat if they could get a good return. Jurco Pulkinnen Smith They're been scratched way too many times and Blashill has straight up said that he's got too many of the same type of players (in reference to Pulk and Jurco being scratched). If the Wings were to trade one of their D-men. Their best trade bait is Brenden Smith. Because like Kr said - he's one of the better puck moving defensemen. We wouldn't get jack for Kronwall, Green, Ericsson because of their contracts. Maybe DK would be another good trade bait but you know that's never going to happen. So yes while Smith has changed his game for the better, I won't be surprised if they traded him....

This is nothing to be surprised over. Whether or not we agree with the suspension - this has been the norm for a while now. Shaw's suspension is pretty minor compared to what FIFA did years ago (5 countries got fined) and what the NBA did to Kobe Bryant ($100k fine). And yeah - players definitely say worse things out there and nothing's happened. (Look at Sean Avery history)

Well losing Shaw hurts. So next game could be it. If not Hawks still have a good shot of comeback.

Lol for someone who complains about players who over-celebrate their goals and accuses them of being classless (recently Damien Brunner) you sure have taken a 180 degree turn in this Andrew Shaw situation. All of a sudden its about the game now. But when a player over celebrates a goal the sky starts fallin. I honestly won't be surprised if the Blues blow the series.
