A 35 year old Zetterberg who has "Sucked" lately has the same amount of points with less games played (by 1) than Stamkos. If Z sucks and can still put up as much as he has. I'm wondering how he would be if he had an actual scoring winger. Same goes for Pav. Even as "bad" as him and Pav have been, they've still had better outlet passes than any forward on our team. Even last game.

Not bad actually. But I'd prefer Tatar with Jurco/Sheahan since that line was always pretty good. Nyquist with Larkin and Richards. These would be practical lines yeah, (and the whole damn reason why Richards was signed by Ken Holland) but I doubt Blash wud change much anyway hah. If he does then awesome. Because at this point, I agree.. Lines do need some changing up.

Larkin was heavily watched by the management and by Jeff Blashill when he played for him. During training camp as well. They knew he would be a difference maker. I'm sure they've watched the other guys too, if they think they would be difference makers I believe we would have seen them on top line. With Blash, they only thing I question is his usage of Richards and I guess Helm. But Datsyuk has said it before that he needs someone to pull the piano. So I don't know if its a coaches thing or a veteran players request.

I don't know. Just force Datsyuk and Zetterberg together till they start scoring again. Everytime they were out there they made better plays with each other than when they played with other line mates. Even the one goal we got last night was from Datsyuk off a Zetterberg no look pass. Im thinking. Abdelkader - Datsyuk - Zetterberg Tatar - Richards - Nyquist Jurco - Sheahan - Larkin Helm - Glendenning- Nosek Just go back to basics. D with Z, Richards center Tatar and Nyquist, Larkin can make Sheahan and Jurco much better. Helm down to 4th. Either that or go with Larkin - Datsyuk - Zetterberg Rest of them.

Kid got pulled game 3 of that series and Howard went in. Mrazek ALSO got pulled 4 or 5 times during the season last year. It's true people are hyping up Mrazek more than needed. He was OKAY last year but still better than Jimmy. Right now imo Jimmy needs to be sat for a bit. Mrazek should be number 1 for a bit unless he himself screws it up. That's that.

I agree that last year he had major consistency issues. This year he's gotten better. It's just part of the rookie process. He's being eased in. That's probably one of the main reasons Blash favored the tandem strategy. He was not consistent in the playoffs. He gave up 5 goals in 2 different playoff games. One in which we had a 3-2 series lead. Which Tampa ended up going 3-3 and then Tampa won it all in game 7. Rookies are rookies, it happens.

Yep. Darren Elliot said it and Chris Osgood thinks Jimmy has to earn the spot from Mrazek now. Which means he thinks Mrazek is number 1. For now.

When you say Zetterberg should take a day off. In hockey that means healthy scatch. That would he controversial to be honest. Imo line changes is a good solution
