    Yeah. Not sure what happened between last games loss and this game. I know it's 'only' Calgary but the Wings definitely came to play tonight. Last game everyone was just so out of it. This game everyone, offense and defense was on top of it.

    Datsyuk wants someone to pull the piano. I think it's more of Datsyuk's preference to have that type of player on his line than Blashill's. He said it lots of times "need somone pull piano" in interviews.

    Tatar is more aggressive than Nyquist for sure. But it's usually ineffective. Doesn't help much when you're 5'10 and 175 lbs. I'm actually a proponent of Tats gaining some more muscle weight. He has the "fearless" side to him, just wish he had the "strength". Datsyuk/Zetterberg were 180 lbs according to their prospect sheet. They've both been around 195+ lbs since early in their prime. It helps to gain some muscle.

    I remember he did a sweet move against Chicago in 2014 but missed. He has the hands for it but problem is I think NHL goalies are just good enough to stop it. Hah found the video. check out Jurco's shot at 4:22. I feel like if he worked at it he could do something with it. I'd try Larkin. He had a nice deke today.

    Thoughts on Mantha playing Datsyuks Wing? I think he could benefit from it. They tried it with Jurco and I guess it didn't work by their standards. Mantha is supposed to be a goal scorer and what Pav needs is some sort of a goal scorer. But now that I remember I think Blash was quoted indirectly saying that he wouldn't bring Mantha up? So he might not be the "call up" that Blash been talking about.

    Zetterberg should watch his own past shootout moves and do it correctly lol. I think they should go with Richards, Larkin, Nyquist as their shootout line up. Datsyuk is 25% on the shootout in the last 3 (?) years. That's really bad. And Zetterberg has always sucked at them. I'd rather put Jurco in as the 4th or 5th guy.

    Karma lol. Felt bad for Holtby. I'm a huge fan of fighting and brawls but if a guy don't want to fight or if he's clearly given up then back off. Emery was an ok goaltender overall though.

    I don't think Zetterberg is a goal scorer. This ain't 2008 anymore. He does lead the team in points though.
