I actually believe we have a shot at him when he hits free agency, so I'd rather just wait for that. But I would probably do this deal as it was laid out, but I'm also on the fence whether or not I believe stammer will actually be worth that money, because he has seemed to decline quite rapidly.

Not every team had that amount of money to spend on players, and a lot of the big name guys came here to team up with the crazy amount of big named talent already on our team to win a cup.

This isn't true.There's actually a bunch of studies on this, the "correct way" is whatever feels comfortable for a kid when they start playing so they don't have to learn another skill from scratch. And the result of that article I read, was dominant hand on top is better for stick handling, dominant on bottom is better for shooting. Also most Canadians shoot left handed, most Americans shoot right... My right hand is more dominant than my left, but I can't shoot left handed, although I used to take a lot of faceoffs with my stick turned around. Going with what feels most natural is a lot smarter than forcing a kid to use his strong hand at the top just to abide by a fictional rule.

Agreed. Either our defense is amazing and our offense only puts up ~14 points, or our defense is awful and our offense miraculously remembers they can be amazing. If he falls to us wherever we end up drafting this year, I do think we should draft Jared Goff. That way he can sit and learn for a year or two while we figure out if Stafford can win games when they matter, and if not then we'll have a developed ready to go starter for when we trade Stafford. Unless Joey Bossa is still on the board, in which case we'd be dumb not to pick him. Or if they're both gone, nkemdiche, or oakman would be good consolation prizes too. When I was in squirts, we were having practice and a kid got hit in the groin during a front of the net drill with a shot from the top of the circle. And he wasn't wearing his cup, so my coach stopped practice and told everyone who wasnt wearing to go put it on. (They were uncomfortable at first) and I was one of four kids left on the ice while everyone else went to the locker room. Two of those left on the ice, we're girls. And the assistant captain, who was my winger and best friend. (We had just started wearing ours after discovering it was more fun to cup check eachother with them on) Good times.
