They are already upgrading with Parayko, they can get top value for him and he will be very expensive to resign, asking for 8yrs somewhere around 6M AAV what would be quite tricky for StL. Which means that there will be always NINE teams with lower picks each year, leading to scary situations when teams will be forced to pick 1,2,3 and then busted with 3yrs late picks. This is bad for medicore teams bellow the p-o line in long-term scope, as they will have one top pick and then for three years will be picking latest 1st round (which is in common quite weak position). Should be enough to alter lottery percentage rules somehow with respect to last year results. There are teams which are for sure in rebuild process, they can´t be blamed just because of Oilers.

...and that´s the reason why Jets won´t let him go, they are in exact position with goalies like us, but he´s ufa after next season.
