Tomas Jurco traded to Chicago for a 3rd rounder
Juklitz replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
That´s true, it´s the economic and cultural hub of Eastern Slovakia, mainly because of high industrialization rate. Town is wealthy and prospering, town centre and surroundings are very nice, but it´s not a big challenge to be the most wealthies hub of this region. And namely Kosice is well known for very cool centre. Slovakia itself is divided to wealthy west part (Bratislava and +-50km) and very poor east side (well..the rest of the country), I believe there´s the biggest economical diversion from all countries across the Europe. By the way, Slovakia has the biggest rate of car produced per capita in the world (and with Jaguar Land Rover starting recently). -

Yes, I can imagine it´s tough to understand, even local people mostly don´t understand. Short story is - these people lived in Europe (they came from India for many reasons, mostly descendants of Dalits https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dalit ) for centuries, mostly practicing their original habits, means - living without permanent home, moving with their trailers, keeping their languages, ignoring education, politics, everything. These vere true european nomads with their unique culture style, language etc. It was quite ilegal, but this was the way they´ve been living for centuries. It was basically legal to kill gipsy like 150 yrs ago in Slovakia or Hungary.. Aprox in 50´s, commies started with social engineering, prohibited nomading and put these people in separated areas like Lunik, but there are hundreds of so called gipsy ghettos around central Europe countries. It was not working. These people don´t understand - by their genetical gear, habits or whatever you will call it - values of work, home, education, nothing. They´re following only elder authorities, unemployment is like 90%, like two thirds or more are relying on government care and money. And for East Slovakia (one of the poorest EU regions), there´s one more thing which doesn´t exist in Czech republic - separated gipsy villages, like the place where´s no law. https://goo.gl/mUUY9f But keep in mind, this is NOT a slum. These people, they really want to live like that, it´s their choice. -

Olololo.. ...yeah, town centre is pretty nice, that´s true. But is not really the whole picture of the area. Search also for some paradise Lunik pictures (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luník_IX) , what is quite common picture of eastern Slovakia. Don´t forget https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U._S._Steel_Košice,_s.r.o. In common, slovak towns are pretty ugly, while country has quite short history of urbanization and most of their towns grew up like 60-70 years ago. Actually, Košice town is comparable to czech Ostrava (where Mrazek is from). -
He´s still IR afaik..

Low quality match, but ok, Howie, Green, Larkin very nice game. Btw., need to say that Yotes are still terrible. Years and years of reBuilding, now with Chayka to be the most progressive team ever, but what I can see is just a bunch of medicore gifted teenagers, who are destroying their talents. Honestly, just wondering where OEL could be if playing for team really focusing on real development. -

But these quotes today released in czech press laughing out loudly: "It´s still not the party...let´s wait for ladies" "He asked for a ´coke´.. Pretty upset he received Coca-Cola" (btw, for these who don´t know, europeans usually don´t use ´coke´ for Cola) "He was high for like six hours.. Then felt asleep" Hudler: "Oh, just a small accident. I just don´t like flying"

I believe the reason is AA is arbitration eligible next year. So - give him more money for two years is in a fact cheaper than give him less money for one year, because we could assume arbiter would set like 2,5-3M per year as a minimum if he´s able to be 20g+ boy. So it´s like "I will give you less money now, but you can have way more money next year if you´re good." and "or I will give you little bit more money now for more years, but will wait for your big payday longer". AA would like to have the combination - don´t risk he will suffer from bad 17/18 season, BUT wants better money right now.

Point your finger anywhere in Eastern Europe map, mehehe.. He spent couple weeks every summer here: http://www.lanterna.cz/hotel-lanternaen.html http://www.horal-hotel.cz/hotel-horalen.html It´s nearby Vsetin, town where he was introduced to professional hockey (playing with Cechmanek, Zabransky, Dopita..)
-
Yes, because he is. He spend every year part of the summer nearby my location (and in this location we know everything about and Hudler has here strong relations), drug smugglers, bars and "other services" have a good times. But what I wrote above is still valid- I´d divide by four every word and number released by Blesk magazine. Also Hudler is very well known for bad relationship with journalists.
-
http://www.tsn.ca/report-hudler-accused-of-outburst-on-plane-1.875321 I can see TSN quoting Blesk, trololo
-
My translator is saying it´s called tabloid journalism in english. It´s like something has really happened, but then you can read quotes from ´one lady who confirmed´ etc. But in the other hand, Hudler is really known for his manner,
-
Guys, this is ´Blesk´ news, you can divide by four everything they release. But anyway, he´s well known for his ..eh.. extraordinary way how to spent summer with whores friends.

It´s not terrible now, but could turn to be real terrible for them quickly. Power-forward roles are declining quicklier than others, his contract could easily turn to unmovable disaster. Edmonton has no cap concerns at the moment, but will have once they will realize that they won´t achieve with such a defense. I believe his contract is already worst than Russell. Their hope is he´s going to be 50-points guy for another 4 year at least and won´t be next Oilers version of Dustin Brown.

No, it´s not Sparta. Richard Nedomlel was able to get a spot in Sparta. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=130683
-
.. and at the same time also the most confusing
-
Circumstances.. AMac is huge fail, but does not hurt Flyers a lot. Also I believe Lucic is far worst contract in Edmonton.
-
Hope Sproul / Hicketts will emerge, while I didn´t like XO last game with Bruins and Big E was clearly on AHL level...
-
Nielsen: "(...) if teams realize that shot he's got, it's going to open up so much more room in the slot or down low." Everybody knows Ovechnik and his one-timer and nearly every single pp he´s on his own island. I believe it´s really that needed combination of coherent attack (which we don´t have at all, our power play units spend most of the time just by entering the zone) AND some cannon guy like Frk. No shooter? PK could just keep hunting the puck around and there´s 70% probablility, that our blue line D will fail to pass. It was the same with Pulkkinen. Goal was just to cover him and rest of the squad was not able to figure out anything. The same works for Gostisbehere and predictable Flyers power-play. What we actually need to utilize Frk and keep the pressure coherent is high-inteligent D with some shot, I hope Blashill will try Jensen couple times on PP (not saying he´s the same level, but take an example of Pietrangelo and his blue line radar).

"Sorry, Danny. I just cant part with the 600k" "But Ericsson, Quincey got 4 milion + each, and I outproduce all of them" "Ok Danny" ....
-
Maybe Belarus team searching for Dave Lewis replacement?
-
+ was doing the same with Flames Sam Bennett (he signed anyway) I believe AA wants to play within the best deal they can make and it´s no more than 2M per when both Sproul (/LTIR) and Bertuzzi go down the waivers to AHL.
-
Actually, the same agent (Ferris) is working for Sam Bennett and the story was the same..
-
Well.. sounds like a weather forecast to me.
-
Another thing could be his development he´s told to make. Like - he was reported to be tip-in/crease player, could be that Red Wings development is asking him now to adapt and develop himself to be more all-aroung guy (like Zetterberg) and this is just a start of 18/19 path he´s going to follow. I´d be more curious where this guy will be in one year from now. What about Machovsky?
