The Hawks hadn't won a cup in 50 years and only three in the entire history of the franchise before 2010. They've now won three in six years, which equals that entire previous output in what..80 years?! They should be more than happy with that, and the team is still great and capable of more cups, and will be for a few more years. When they start to slide again and the bandwagoners complain, that's on those idiots. If their big four players had been let walk over money, they wouldn't have any of the cups and winning to look back on, and would be going on 60+ years of futility.

Amazing player offensively and defensively. Made many players and goalies look horrible with his skills. Will go down in history as one of the best stickhandlers to ever play the game. Also a funny guy. Only regret is the Wings not having won more cups with him when he was in his prime. The hall is waiting for ya Pav..thanks for the memories and the 2 cups( very nearly 3)!!

So like the Wings with Z, Kronwall, Ericsson, and Howard? And Franzen if he wouldn't be on LTIR for the rest of his contract. Z is signed till he's 40, and look at how he's playing already. Not to defend the Hawks by any means, but they've already got three cups with those 4 guys. The Wings have one with three of four (not counting Franzen). The Wings didn't cash in enough when those guys were in their prime.

That, and those contracts don't seem to be hindering the success of the team at all...not yet anyways. Their depth is unreal, and everytime they lose a player to cap restrictions..they somehow find another cheaper guy to replace him that does as good or better. It's frustrating to watch. lol

True, but i've heard lesbians and gays use that word as well. like "yeah, i'm a ******"..when describing themselves. As for Shaw's actions in the game last night..the league has become way too PC. You used to have to be thick skinned and tough to play in the NHL..no matter what position or role you played. It was rough stuff, players played with bad injuries, and not much was off limits on the ice as far as chirping goes. Who cares..it's hockey. Just let em play.

Me either, but at the same time I think they'll pull it off. I know they always choke..even the season they got Ryan Miller at the deadline and they looked unstoppable on paper, but got the boot in 6 games in Round 1 to the Hawks. Hopefully this series ends up differently.. They look confident and are playing great hockey. Tarasenko is tearing it up, and Elliot has been better than Crawford. Hawks showed their frustration last night. No reason the Blues can't close out the series.

Yeah. He's still learning really. For some goalies, even the most promising ones, it takes awhile to get everything dialed in. Carey Price even went through a growth period. For awhile many people doubted he'd become anything. Now is a good time for Mrazek to work on it, because the team doesn't have a chance at winning a cup anytime soon.

Indeed. I do know some true Hawks fans though that were fans when they sucked and actually know hockey..they're cool to talk to. It's the bandwagoners that were either closet Hawks fans before during their days of 5,000 fans at games and last place finishes and the curse of '61, or suddenly liked them when they started winning cups that are the assholes. 2-2 tie!
